This restaurant has it all a beautiful view of the river and was treated to a cute cluster of ducks entertaining us. to start with the service was fabulous Angie our waitress was exceptional and knowledgeable.The appetizers of tuna tartar and the steak tacos were excellent. for dinner i had the chicken scarpiello which was done differently and quite good with a nice kick Kathy had the grilled shrimp Also very good. Looking for a new restaurant to add to our "rotation" we tried Capers after seeing great reviews. Happy to say - we picked a winner. Potato goat cheese dumplings to start were unique and tasty. We loved the hummus served with our bread as well. I had the Branzino for dinner and my husband had the Short Rib Pappardelle. Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.
