Go to sunrise pizza instead!!
It was 85$ for a large pie ,2 slices of cheese and lasagna. That wouldn’t be an issue if the lasagna as actually good . It had maybe a pound of cheese along with the oil it created , no sauce and hamburger meat … don’t get anything besides their pepperoni slice. I should have went to sunrise pizza it is far better and nothing you order is ever bad . The staff is rude and speaks in Spanish so you can’t understand them and has beers on the job . I should have taken a picture.

Hands down my favorite pizza place in the area. Their sauce is so good and always pretty accurate on their wait time.

Came here once after lacrosse practice everything was fine, 2nd time I came with some friends after school, mind you the highschool and the middle school are near the restaurant, it was midterm week and I’m a senior at highschool I understand that some of the younger kids might be trouble some but it was clear my friends and I were older and respectful, we ordered our slices and sat down to eat and talk not even loud and the owner or one of the workers told us to leave and that we couldn’t eat there very rudely with no reason nor a kind tone and the 3rd time I went there to pick up food it was the same thing rude service and impolite workers. Which sucks cause I live 2 blocks away and I like Italian food but at this point I would much rather pay a delivery fee from another Italian restaurant rather then step foot in this establishment again

I highly recommend John’s of Arthur Ave Pizzeria in Port Chester. As a teacher at Port Chester Middle School, I have ordered from them many times, and they have always been dependable with their delivery.

Recently, I placed an order for appetizers for a small celebration with 15 teachers, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The employee who helped me was very kind, professional, and helpful in suggesting what to order. The delivery arrived on time, and everything was fresh and delicious.

After comparing other restaurants in the area, I appreciated that John’s of Arthur Ave offered reliable delivery, a helpful menu, and outstanding service. For quality food, professionalism, and consistency, they are a great choice. I would confidently recommend them to anyone in the Port Chester area.

The service was very poor and I Oder from them all the time this was the first time the guy was very over his job clearly and the food costing 65.00 for a chicken franchise/penne and a large pizza with extra cheese I asked for extra lemon on my chicken franchise double and was ignored and it taste like 💩. I have never made a review like this but smdh. My boy had an open tab here during school and I will never call here again.

The worst service I’ve ever seen in my life!
I bought two pizzas and a cola. I sat at a table and started eating, when a staff member came up and started kicking me out to the aisle. He said: “These people sit here,” pointing at the others, “and you have to sit in the aisle where people are constantly walking.”
I told him I only needed five minutes. I asked why they divide people like that? There are 10 tables and only two are occupied — what’s the problem? In response, I got nothing but rudeness. I asked for a refund — they refused rudely.
I work for Uber and I stop by just to quickly eat and use the restroom. I don’t have time to call the police and wait. They’ve completely lost their minds — they don’t treat customers like human beings. We’ve gone back to the Stone Age with this division into “their own” and “outsiders.” In the end, I paid them the money and went hungry.
Rudeness, arrogance, and deception — this is a boomerang, and it will all come back to you a hundredfold. Never stepping foot in this place again.

Very disappointing customer service. The “manager” seems to have little understanding of how to treat customers.

A month ago my daughter and I were told we couldn’t sit at a larger table because we were only ordering pizza slices, even though we’ve done so before with no issue. Today we returned and were again told we couldn’t sit in the main dining area for the same reason.

The frustrating part was that the restaurant was nearly empty—only one family inside and plenty of open tables.

Experiences like this make customers feel unwelcome. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

I just moved to the neighborhood and this is the most quaint restaurant and delicious pizza in the neighborhood. With a staff that makes you feel like you’re in a five star restaurant even when ordering just a slice of pizza. Juan waited on us and for a very stressful day he was a breath of fresh air. I am happy that we came here and will be back soon

Not worth it

An hour wait for a cold, bad pizza at John’s of Arthur Avenue.

Not busy, yet people who came after us were served first, and the food was disappointing.

I frequent this restaurant quite often. Tonight we had the pleasure of having Estuardo as our server. He was amazing. He was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent as always. We will definitely be back!
