The Good: Food was tasty, nice venue, cool vibe (but loud), server was nice.

The Not-So-Good: Service was very slow. Very expensive for small portions. Silver dollar sized crab cake and the tiniest soft shell crabs I've ever eaten. And when waiter (not ours) asked how our meal was and I mentioned the crabs were very small for the price, he got really defensive and asked where else I had soft shell crabs before.

I would go back for drinks...

The atmosphere and the service were good, but the food was very underwhelming. Considering all the recommendations I received, I expected to be blown away. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but Surf & Turf shouldn't be that difficult. My filet was way over cooked with no flavor, as was the lobster tail. Considering the $75 price tag, I wanted more. I would not go back and spend that kind of money at this place. Also, and I know I shouldn't expect anything for free,...

Can't say enough great things about Saltaire!
The food and service are consistently excellent. Ambiance is cool. Great for happy hour and dinners. Haven't been for a special occasion but no doubt it would be equally great!
Raw bar is fresh and tasty.
Try it out and you'll be glad you did.
