May garden(port jefferson station)

Used to be better but have fallen off and become overpriced for the quality of food you get considering other local options. Not great, not terrible but for the price I recommend elsewhere.

This is honestly the best of 4 Chinese Food places that I’ve had in Port Jeff station so far. The food is definitely on the better side and the lunch portions are very generous and affordable.

Also I want to say that the lady behind the counter was SUPER nice. Idk what’s up with the other reviews about attitude, but it really feels like she/they have taken the comments to heart. It’s my first time here and I’ll certainly be back. They deserve a much higher review for both the food quality and service

Gave me the nastiest food poisoning I ever had , I know it was from may garden because I have not ate all day besides their “chicken and broccoli” DO NOT EAT

We kept giving them the benefit of the doubt because trying to find another place for chinese food can be difficult. We seem now to be getting a lot of wrong orders or missing items. And if you call they tell you "Oh, thats what I put in for the order, so nothing we can really do." It can also take up to 2 hours some times to get food as well. Going to explore other places around, just too much of a headache at this point to deal with at this point.

Firsttimer. Best "House Special" items I've had. They have a special touch.

Asked for extra spicy and they delivered on it. Hot and sour soup was off the hook. Quick delivery. Everything tasted delicious.

Thursday, wish I knew when that particular young lady is working to avoid going there then.....One young lady has excellent customer service skills and the other looks like she wished not to have to work there .... No response to "Hello", is too much trouble. Taking the order impatiently (no one else was in the store) and hurried. Forget "thank you" much less "have a good day" or acknowledge "good bye" No one needs a blank sour puss, every one can have a bad day, but at least make an effort... This was not the first time, so if you dont want to be there, by all means stay home. Food is meant to be enjoyable from order begining to end. After all customers deserve a bit of professional attitude, is all part of the business. The food here is great, better than most in the area and we go at least twice a week, but the sour part can be avoided. Just saying....
