Always consistent with their quality. They have become one of my family’s favorites. Staff is friendly And while they make everything quick you would never know with how great everything comes out. Their birra and shrimp tacos are a must.
I saw a post about this place before visiting NY from San Diego. (Mexican food capital of the world) We ordered some tacos, a birria pizza, and a quesadilla. The food was absolutely amazing. The only thing is it is labeled “Tex-Mex” which is not the case. It is 100% Southern California style Mexican food at its finest. Best Mexican food in New York that I’ve tried.
The food at Taco Island never disappoints. It is always so fresh and delicious! Whether ordering pick up or staying in to eat, the staff is always a pleasure to interact with! Thank you!
