Chandler Square Ice Cream (Port Jefferson Ice Cream Cafe)

I looove their ice cream. The white chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream is so good. Lots of chocolate chips in it. Heavenly.

Stopped by Feb 22; girl named Hailey or something was extremely rude to my wife. My wife was in line and two people cut her in line; I know the counter people saw her waiting there. I guess partially on us for not speaking up too. When my wife went to the counter she wasn’t greeted like the previous customers. Absolutely awful attitude from that girl too; she looked at us like we were an annoyance. I mean, sure my kids were being loud, but that’s why I was holding their hands a few feet away. I didn’t say anything but we plan on stopping by in town soon; had us thinking about it. Have never written a review before. But hoping not to deal with her again. Best actual ice cream in town here though compared to Kilwins. Never would go to the Frigate.

I love this ice cream, have been coming here since I was a kid. The ice cream is creamy and definitely the best value around the area. They have a decent variety and toppings.

We love this place. This is located in Port Jefferson. Parking might be difficult if it is a weekend. I have tried cotton candy, birthday cake, vanilla and road. All of them are very tasty. Friendly staff. If you have a kid always go for a cup as they put big scoop of ice cream. Highly recommending this place.

Loved the craft ice cream flavors and the friendly staff. Very beach vibe. Tried the monster cookie, but ultimately got the Rocky road. The Rocky road was perfectly chocolatey and marshmallows were real and soft and delicious. My aunt got the coconut, and that was so refreshing and creamy

Well as a person of color, I can tell you not to go in there because my experience was dreadful. Frozen faces no expressions. 2 ladies seated as if behind an invisible wall. One trying her best as to conceal her disgust of the sight of a colored person. I was so uncomfortable that I possibly quickly ordered the worst of their selection and exited. My wife is a real simpleton and I didn't want her so sense that we are NOT welcome in there. Additionally, there was way too much sugar in everything we ordered - not even the worst of the educated and the not even the bottom of the society from the other side of the globe consume soooooo much of sugar. I am so appalled by so many good reviews that I see here for everything so absolutely so horrible in there No wonder they say that almost ALL reviews are FAKE!

I had the vegan chocolate ice cream. It was good, but it didn't exactly blow my mind. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-02

I had a large chocolate egg cream - it was awful...when the fix went down it was half a glass and tasted like seltzer with a hint of chocolate....Awful !!!

The dark chocolate, rum raisin, pistachio flavors are excellent

Vegan ice cream yeuck!! Dont know what all the hype is about. 4 other ice cream shops within a block without the line or the pretentious customers. Go to ralphs imo.
