Place was cool, staff was very nice but sweet baby jesus y’all need to scrap that Cannoli recipe along with the rest of the bakeries down here. The filling was some watered down buttercream and cinnamon tasting doo doo. Need to strain the ricotta better and use a lil cream cheese to thicken it. This not even on u guys, it’s on everybody down here in Long Island that can’t make a cannoli.

If you like your pastries heavy... The hot cross buns were small, dense balls of compact dough. Tough and over-baked. I know buns are not an Italian thing, but why sell them if you can't bake the them? The croissants are terrible. Heavy, with a strange, artificial flavor. The sfogliatelle look impressive with the lamination, but the pastry is literally sharp, it's like trying to eat razor blades. Also a very odd, artificial flavor to the filling, like aftershave. Really a shame.

I have been enjoying some of their pastries and cookies for some years but I decided to leave this review hoping the cupcake packaging could improve. I ordered cookies and four mini cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles on top for desserts tonight. Now my kids were all expecting their pretty cupcakes… but when we opened the box, this is what we found. The mini cupcakes are inside a large box with no compartment or holder, so the cupcakes tumbled in our way home and frosting was smeared. Huge disappointment! The same experience happened when I ordered soccer ball designed cupcakes for my son’s birthday. The baker created cute designs but when it was delivered to the party venue, they were all smudged in the box. Most cupcake places I know would use paper or plastic containers with individual holders. Am I expecting too much?

I came here on a rainy snowy Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend to have a little Cafe date. There were a million pastries to choose from, and I wanted to try them all.I maintained some semblance of decorum and ordered a lemon bar, mini fruit tart, and a marzipan orange. My boyfriend had a couple of mini eclaires, a pignoli cookie, and a rainbow cookie. He also had a double espresso, and i ordered a cappuccino. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! The cappuccino was average, nothing special, but good, cappuccino. My boyfriend said the double espresso was "fine".The seating area was small and wasn't incredibly comfortable.The service was very nice and helpful.Would reccomend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: I don't think many of the pastries contained meat, but I could be wrong lolKid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like a delicious pastry or smiley face cookie?

Omg butter cookies are Amazing. And the coffee hits the spot. Great job. Hate the stairs going into the bakery and very small once inside but well worth it.
Been coming here for years for the black and white cookies and the croissants. They have *always* been fantastic. And the price is completely unbeatable. The staff is also super sweet. I regret not getting her name, but one cashier was asked by a little girl "What can I get for a dollar?" and responded "Pick anything you like, I'll give it to you for a dollar" then proceeded to do so. It's the little things like that that make this one of the best places in PJ Village.
