Not like it used to be... must be new ownership... 6 of us went to dinner there a couple weeks ago. The staff was rude, service was slow. We ordered 3 med rare skirt steaks, they all came out looking like pieces of jerky. Overall crappy dining experience. Wouldn't waste my money again.

I went with my wife and a friend, and unfortunately the experience felt very awkward. While we were still eating, the waitress removed our plates without asking—even as we were taking bites. Later, when I asked for a container for my leftovers, she brought one but didn’t provide a bag to carry it in. Overall, the service felt rushed and inattentive, which took away from what should have been an enjoyable meal.

Had a great experience here last night. The food was cooked perfectly. Enjoyed some of the best baked clams I’ve ever had. The drinks looked very creative as well. The skirt steak was tender and marinated in a delicious marinade. The service was helpful but it wasn’t a rushed experience by any means. The patio is dog friendly as well. I will be back!

Amazing dog friendly restaurant in the heart of Port Jeff! We love going here for drinks and appetizers. Especially since we can bring the pup for outdoor seating.

07/04/2025. Dinner 4 people. Sorry to say a slight decrease in rating. Waitress couldn't be bothered finding out answers to a few questions. Main dishes were excellent as always have been. Calamari appetizer was unusually skimpy and put on a very large plate which made it look even skimpier. I was also disappointed when the ck came. Bill was split in 2. We each got our own bill with half the amount. The suggested tip was based on the full bill not half. This is done on purpose. Very tacky.
Sept 2019. Been here a number of times since first review. Never disappointed. This time we had the owners son as a waiter. He was great. Nice guy. I especially like the seafood paella

We wanted Bloody Marys that were a meal and Google recommended Nantuckets, and they did not disappoint with their Lobster Bloody Marys. The rest of the meal was just as good. Great choice for outdoor dining on a beautiful summer day.

We decided to try Nantuckets and we decided it is our new goto in port Jefferson. BEST buttered lobster roll we ever had. The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection. And oh yes the stacked tuna appetizer was perfect. The staff was great... attentive, but not too, and very friendly (Skylar). The place was redone about a year ago and looks great. I highly recommend this restaurant

Enjoyed a delicious Friday night dinner (6/6/25) on Nantucket’s outdoor deck while being serenaded by live saxophone music - made for a very pleasant and memorable evening. Will definitely return.

Really awesome that you can take your dog but they charge an astronomical amount of money for food the staff doesn’t seem to understand. They were bewildered when I asked what kind of oysters they were serving.
