This is what every restaurant should strive to be. The service was 5 star and the food was amazing. Everything from appetizers to dessert was perfect. The wait staff was welcoming and extremely professional and we felt very appreciated. It also has a great location overlooking the harbor. This will be our new go to place in Port Jefferson.

On May 18th, I made a reservation for June 4th for two people at 6PM at the PJ Harbour Club. Imagine my shock and embarrassment when I arrived with my client and the restaurant was closed! No call, no email, no text, no communication whatsoever! They left me standing on the steps of the restaurant scrambling to find a Saturday evening reservation in Port Jefferson. Thankfully, after several calls, we found a restaurant who would seat us. When they heard about how we were left stranded by the PJ Harbour Club, they bent over backward to make our experience a extra special one. It's a shame, really. The PJ Harbour Club was a lovely place-good food, attentive staff, great views. Unfortunately, their lack of consideration and respect killed it for me. I won't go back.

The lobster app was amazing served w/figs and we had a ver light pasta dish with peas and asparagus. It really was delicious. The service is absolutely the best.. will definitely return even thought we will drive for 40 minutes- it is so worth the drive!!

Great food, waiters attentive but on a Saturday night there were 4 tables in the whole place and the hostess had her young child at the front desk - not a good first impression for the menu prices and look of the place they are going for. The decor is unchanged from the previous two restaurants that occupied that space. I had high hopes but the atmosphere and feeling of the place is unremarkable and somewhat dull

The service is impeccable but the food is extremely bland. My filet, which I asked for med rare, didn't have an ounce of flavor and came out med well. Just not an interesting selection. But again, service is terrific

I have to be honest I was not impressed. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and the Waite staff was very attentive. My issue lies with first the drinks, my boyfriend always gets vodka and club soda. Never have we ever been charged for 2 separate drinks. They charged us $14 for the vodka and then $3 for the club soda. Absolutely ridiculous. We've been to nicer more expensive restaurants and never were charged $17 for vodka and club. 2 nd I ordered off the price fix menu the seared tuna. It was awful, the tuna itself was very chewy and the dish itself was very bland. The customer at table next to us had same dish and sent it back. I should have but didn't. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was not impressed and honestly will not go back. I don't mind spending money for a good place but I do not feel this place is worth it.

Fantastic experience overall. The service and food were both outstanding, the chef sent out an awesome seafood salad on the house too. we will definitely be back!

Our party of four got the prix fix menu and we all enjoyed our selections. I think the appetizers and the desserts were the stars of the menu. We had two bottles of wine and the wine list is good and very reasonably priced.

This was our first visit under the new ownership. The food was excellent. My wife really enjoyed her sliced steak picanah dinner and I found the prosciutto wrapped salmon to be a very flavorable combination. The portion sizes were a good value for the price. The chef was experimenting with some side dishes that evening and we benefited from a small tasting of each. The restaurant has a great view of Port Jefferson Harbor and, as luck would have it, a large and distinctive rainbow formed during our meal. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. We will be back.
The restaurant was virtually empty, yet we were seated on top of the one other table that was dining. The chairs were stained and uncomfortable. The service was extremely slow. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order to be taken and almost an hour for bread. We were each given one roll and they never came around with the bread basket again. The appetizers and desserts were good, two main dishes were over-cooked. We did not enjoy our wine. As we were finishing our meal, the manager started turning off the candles and the waitstaff came over to our table several times to see if we were done eating, when we clearly were not finished. As the last person was trying to finish, they came over four times. We felt like we were being rushed and we still had dessert coming with two of the meals being price fixe and it was not late in the evening. As they removed the last plate, the dessert was immediately put down on the table. While eating dessert, they started cleaning the restaurant with bleach, which was sickening, causing eyes to tear, sneezing and headaches. That never should have happened. The meal was very expensive for such poor service and to leave there with the smell and taste of bleach. It's another beautiful looking restaurant that won't last in that location. We were extremely disappointed and annoyed and will not be back.
