I had dinner at PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson with my husband and son, and overall, it was a great experience. While the gentleman who greeted us at the entrance could have been a bit more welcoming, our waiter more than made up for it, she was kind, personable, and attentive throughout our meal. It was our first time! Absolutely loved it service & food was great! Only recommendation would be to have a print out of the “priced daily” items. It was kind of annoying having the server reading everything off. Otherwise excellent meal, great portions!

We normally really enjoy our food . We got out normal lobster roll which was good but our appitizer was not good . We got a seafood sampler which included baked clams( horrible) crab cakes , clam strips and calamari . Liked none of it . We actually gave it back to the waitress. I've never did that before but it just wasn't good . Lobster roll was good but not as good as I always remember. It was mostly claw meat . Left there feeling a bit disappointed

Seating was great- food was ok. Crab cakes had lots of filler and scallops were a bit overcooked 😔 Appetizers were really good. Service was ok. Pricing was high considering the food was just ok. Maybe time for an update to the list of side dishes.

We ordered lobster tails. They were so over cooked that you couldn't get meat out. I exchanged for a lobster roll , which was ok. My husband refused to eat anything else. Soups ( New England clam chowder and lobster bisque. )were sub par. Not much better than a fast food place.

Overall good. I had bucket of steamers which were very good. Wife had lobster roll which had way too much mayo. I make a much better one. Side salad was good. Very flood service, nice and attentive waitress. Nice outside deck table despite being in parking lot.
