Stopped by on my Habitat for Humanity tour and had a free beer. Delicious IPA. Had a burger and avocado sliders. The food was good but not spectacular. Pub food is always good comfort food. This is a local pub with good music and vibes. Very relaxed. Nothing fancy, which is what you want in a place like this. Bartenders were good. Go have a burger and check out a band and beer. Be aware: Port Jeff parking is expensive, the most expensive LI town so far. Cost is almost 5 bucks for three hours?! It's like $2 bucks almost everywhere else and most towns have more to offer. Just be prepared.

We went to watch a great band play, it was a fun and lively atmosphere, food was delicious! I happen to leave my brand new purse behind and to my surprise 5 days later I called and they had kept it safely for me waiting for someone to claim it!! Good people, good food and good ambiance!

So much fun!! Terrific menu options and Justin was a blast! We went on a Sunday afternoon and decided to eat here for the first time.Chicken sandwich, burgers, and I LOVED my corned beef and pastrami!!Then take a walk to the water.Great day!Vegetarian options: Well. The Boratta Salad was wonderful! Ask for raisins and walnuts to be added. Wow! The drizzle was where it's at. So ask for more of IT and the dressing on the side. Yummy!!!

"Till then I'm waiting in the port of lonely hearts Watchin' for your topsail on the sea Prayin' that my ship of love will come To the port of lonely hearts where I will be" (Johnny Cash) Zero complaints at all about Port Bistro & Pub. The food and service were great, and I want to acknowledge our server Christine, who was a real joy to interact with. We stopped in for a Friday lunch. I ordered a salad and one of the soup specials. My Burrata Salad was $14 for a big portion of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and basil topped with a big hunk of burrata cheese, roasted peppers and a balsamic glaze. The salad was excellent, especially the creamy decadent Burrata. Half of it came home with us. My soup was a cup of Mediterranean Lentil for $6. It came in a bowl-sized portion with a big hunk of fresh Italian bread. Both were great, and I loved how the soup was served piping hot and not tepidly lukewarm like so many places serve their soups. My wife ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana Flatbread, and this is where Christine displayed her customer service skills. She told us the restaurant had run out of Eggplant the night before and ran back to the kitchen to see if there was a new supply ready for today. She came back and said it hadn't been fully prepped yet, so it wasn't available, but would we like to try Cauliflower Parmigiana instead? That sounded intriguing to us, and we agreed. The flatbread that came out ($16) was delicious. Big nuggets of sauteed Cauliflower with cheese and marinara sauce on a flatbread. It tasted so good, we vowed to try making our own Cauliflower Parm at home. Lunch ran around $40 after tax and tip, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Port Bistro & Pub.

If you are looking for a burger that takes your taste buds to a new level, you MUST try Port. They have a wide variety to choose from and Justin was very accommodating to make your burger of choice. My wife had the Beef Burger w/gouda cheese. She requested it to be prepared medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I chose the Peanut Butter Bacon Beef Burger and, I must admit, I had my doubts about the combination. However, the addition of peanut butter made it the best burger that I ever had. For peanut butter fans, there is no need to EVER put ketchup on your burger again. Finally, the fries were crispy and non-greasy. There are many other items on the menu that we can't wait to enjoy on our next visit. You just can't beat the combination of nice people and excellent food.

Went with a party of 12. Took forever to get our drinks. When the apps came out, our giant pretzel was still frozen in the middle. We sent it back and had it warmed up. The salad never came. When the entrees came, the vodka sauce in the pasta was watery. Chicken in the chicken parmesan was pretty good. However, a few entrees were wrong. We went on a night where there was a live band (wouldn’t have gone if we knew ahead of time.) The music was just way too loud. Overall not a very pleasant experience. Wouldn’t go back.

We come here every year for a holiday lunch. There was 7 of us and our server/host/bartender/food runner was amazing! He gave great suggestions and was extremely attentive. He made our lunch that much better. Can't wait to come back again.

I'm so confused by the terrible reviews I read about this place! I went in today with my family, and we had a very enjoyable lunch. The food was excellent, the staff was pleasant and welcoming, and the environment was family-friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Cool find!! Went after seeing a show at Theatre Three. Clean, friendly and some great food!! We all shared some tasty appetizers - good portions and reasonable prices . The burgers were juicy and flavorful - many options to choose from with wide selection of sides. Wish our appetites could have handled one of the delicious sounding pasta dishes on the menu. That will have to wait until next time. Bar is spacious and looks like it would be fun to come by for a beverage and some appetizers! Definitely a place to come back to!
