Amazing place and even better beer and the best service and people on the island! Definitely worth checking out!!

I love this place however this visit today 9/16 at 1:15 I asked for my favorite pink lemonade seltzer and to my extreme disappointment it is now hand mixed and tastes horrible. My wife got blue raspberry and the same. We often made trips to get take home cans and no longer will be doing so dont waste your time. They are brewing plain seltzer so they can add any flavor they want by hand pumping flavor into it. So the result is no consistency in flavor or body of the drink often being flat and flavorless. If you like seltzers ask to make sure its brewed and NOT flavor added like a cheesy milk shake from Carvel

Cool little brewery with knowledgeable beer tenders. Many beer styles and options available. Dat Nu Nu is always good, but Aquanut IPA was delightful and full of flavor. Porter is solid, but if you enjoy a trippel you have to try the Orange Dream. Yes, it's small inside but you're in beautiful Port Jeff and there are plenty of outdoor seating options. I've enjoyed this brewery during all seasons. Sit back and enjoy the beer at Port Jeff Brewing Company. Actually, enjoy two beers .... there's always another ferry!

Big Back Bartender on Monday aggressively scolding a small child and ignoring her father and his friends smoking right out front. Monday afternoon and you're scolding people? You're lucky you had any customers. Locals said that you always got something to say, maybe you gotta use that same energy to fix ya attitude...

Monday noon crowd, so you know it’s quiet and honestly wouldn’t be chasing away your weekday folks. Unpleasant old lady tending bar felt it necessary to scold the little kid picking flowers out front while completely ignoring the grown man smoking a cigarette in front of the open door where other paying customers were trying to enjoy their beer. Spoke to other locals who say she’s always got a comment to make…not someplace I want to hang around.

One of our favorite breweries, and we go to enough of them. No indoor seating, small bar area, in the shape of a boat, with their own taps. You can actually see the barrels they brew in while inside ordering drinks. Plentiful outdoor seating on benches, Adirondack chairs, wooden barrels, etc, however on busy weekend days or during the summer, seating may be hard to find.
Dog friendly as well, and sometimes they have live music playing outside.
Right near Slurp Ramen, a burger joint, ice cream, and Port Jeff Lobster soup. We frequently order take out nearby and eat it while enjoying a brew here.

Plastic cups, no indoor seating, filthy porta potties, and sub-par beer…

Recent social media advertisement of this brewery insinuated teachers should get drunk or have a brew on their meal period, "Cheers to the start of another school year. The tasting room is open at noon." Would you want teachers go at noon as illustrated in the ad and later return to the class room? I wouldn't. This establishment cares more about profits serving beer than being a responsible member of the community. Make matters worse, the wait staff continuously over serve patrons including but not limited to mentally retarded people who do not know their own limits. Merchant will also include credt card surcharges on the bill without disclosing or any actual return policy for general merchandise as reuqired by NYS or Suffolk County. This establishment will also advertise they are a member of the Brewers Association without paying the necessary membership dues. Mike, the owner, will boast about how much money he makes from concert nights while smoking weed or the number of wait staff he slept with. The womanizing behavior and over-serving turned me off this place.

It's okay-ish. There's literally ZERO inside seating capacity...yes, you read that right. There's no inside to speak of. There's a room with a counter, that's it. You're supposed to buy your drink and sit under the porch or out in the elements. If it's too hot or cold, raining? Windy? You're screwed. Don't wander too far or you'll be silently threatened by a ton of signage outside about leaving the tiny area. Then there's the cheap plastic cups. Why? It's good for a drink or two if it's slow but don't bother during season (summer).

I love it here! I love everyone that works here! So friendly and kind. If someone dislikes it here it probably because they were rude. I have never had a bad experience and I have gone weekly for a year.
