Extremely tiny place on the inside. Pictures made it seem bigger. Very few selection of drinks and my seltzer was flat. The bartender was unfriendly

Port Jeff Brewing has a nice selection. The inside area has a boat shaped bar and barrels as tables. Nothing fancy yet cozy. Large area outside to hang out. Near the water to enjoy the sights. ~Cheers

This place is the worst. The Beers are lousy and the servers are nasty. avoid this place. Go to GBB across the square and get a great selection of craft beers and great burgers.

Great place to meet up with family and friends. Nice selection of beers that rotate frequently, great atmosphere and one of the only places in Port Jeff where you can sit outside and just grab a beer. Dog and kid friendly, great live music every Wednesday in the summer as well as various other days. The best ice cream shop in town right across from the brewery. Plenty of space and seating. One of my fav town spots! Definitely worth a visit.

Pleasant, quiet place with a variety of beers/drinks.

Hands down one of the best places on the island. Locals, tourists, day trippers visiting all have the same thing in common- good beer and good vibes. Variety is always amazing all different brews every changing. My favorite is the vibes- everyone is nice and its family and dog friendly but you can still come enjoy yourself without having to worry about kids running around. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable about all the beers and super helpful if you are curious about what your taste is. I will keep coming back- glad to have this on long island!

Part 1 of 2.The Port Jefferson Brewery!! A great place with a great concept that combines craft beer with a great selection of live music. This venue is our go to place to meet friends and family and within a walking distance to our home– No question our net worth has diminished over the years on craft beer, not to mention the business we bring in with our friends and family. The business owner has done great things and clearly puts in the hard work.I’m compelled to enter this review because I truly believe he has liability that affects his business negatively. A bartender, I believe by the name of Zoey, clearly lacks sophistication and does not recognize the importance of customer service. She does not have the ability to deal and solve customer issues. Without doubt she does not belong in a customer facing role. Our experiences with the other staff have always been positive, joyful and fun. But not with Zoey. Let me go into what happened on April 28th, the day the Black Country Beatnix were performing. We wanted to use a gift card given to us by a family member. Zoey insisted that we had to run a tab and leave a credit card along with our gift card. At this time we asked her to run the gift card so we would know what was on it, she verbally told us it was $38. We were reluctant to start a tab at first but agreed to her demand. I purchased a round of beers for friends that met us there totaling 6 beers. Toward the end of the show we decided to get a slice of pizza on main street. Unfortunately with some distractions I forgot to pick up my card/gift card before going home. The next morning realizing this, I called the brewery to make sure my card was there. The person I spoke with confirmed it was in their possession. I advised I would pick it up in a few minutes. ..Exceeded characters". .. See Part 2 of this review.

Part 2 of 2. ( part 1 -Pam Altamirano)Once I arrived, I was given my cards and the receipt. The receipt showed a total of 10 beers instead of 6, about $30 more than it should be ( unfortunately I misplaced the receipt and may be off a little on the count but def off by about $30) Anyway, the bartender said she would have someone call me back to discuss - she took my phone number. Nobody ever called me back. My wife and I went back to the brewery yesterday 6/15/23 to see another band and this time I asked Zoey to please use the gift card again. She insisted I leave my credit card along with the gift card. I don’t know why we needed to do this. I mentioned to her what had happened on 4/28 with the overcharge and she quickly said, "I remember you and insisted I was wrong and the bill from 4/28 was accurate and proceed to say “ I was not the one drinking that night” and again said that my bill from 4/28 was correct and I was mistaken. This woman really has a terrible attitude toward customers. We got two beers, listened to the band and decided to order 2 more before heading home, so we asked Zoey to close the tab and to use the gift card. Strange that she reluctantly took the card to the register. It took her about 5 minutes to come back and says“ this card has no value” . We were really surprised by this and could not understand why this would be, especially since she was the one that confirmed there was $38 a couple of weeks earlier. I ended up paying with my debit card for 4 beers totaling $29. My wife and I were so annoyed with her attitude and decided we would not be coming back. We also decided to quickly go home to get another gift card given to us by a friend. In other words, we wanted to zero out the balance on that card to close any ties with the PJ Brewery. She processed the card and confirmed there was $25. We then asked to use that card for take home beer. To our surprise she said, “ nope, you need to come back on a day i’m not working, and you continue to berate me ” raising her voice and making a scene. I spotted the business owner who happened to be in the room at this very moment. Realizing I was not getting anywhere with her, I approached him and asked him to help with the situation. He said he was “familiar with the situation “ I guess she told him about it when we left to get the other gift card. He was professional and helpful. He said he would look into it and review all the transactions on the gift card that she claims to have no value. 10 minutes later he came back and handed us both cards and wrote “$45 I guess there was more on it than the $38 she had advised us. The other card had $25 written on it.” He also refunded me the $29 on my card I guess to rectify the overcharge that was mistakenly processed on my card from April 28. I thought he handled the situation as any smart business owner with good business sense would. We were pleased but still are reluctant to deal with Zoey so we are not sure if we will ever go back, maybe only to zero out the gift cards or maybe on her days off.

Such a fun brewery. The space isn’t that large but still plenty of room to enjoy your day. Staff is amazing. Dog friendly.

This is a wonderful place and my wife and I enjoy a beer or three every time we visit Port Jeff. They always offer a good selection of beer and we always find something delicious and fresh to enjoy. Although the service bar is small, the bartenders are great at their job. They keep thongs moving - if there is a line, don't be discouraged - you will be served quickly. Well worth a try - enjoy!!!

Great spot for a beer down port in Port Jeff. They brew their own craft beers and have really cool names for them.I enjoyed the New England IPA - "Dat NuNu IPA" with a 7.8% ABV. Delicious out of the can and it quenched my IPA thirst craving.Great patio area for seating and they are dog friendly! Awesome service and a cool nautical theme.
