Have been twice, food was Great both times. Awesome Fish tacos and pork tacos, Prime Rib was terrific, prime rib soup was very tasty and today we had burgers that we really nice too. Haven’t had anything bad really. And, casual comfortable atmosphere with Very friendly owners. Definitely recommend.

Happened to find Angus 83 on our way home to CT and we were more than pleasantly surprised. The owner/chef is very engaging and knows how to prepare delicious food. The waitress was terrific and brought us a complimentary appetizer of fried mozzarella that was incredible. The entrees, a steak and their signature burger were great. Oh yeah and the chicken wings are really really good. I will make the ride out there again just to dine at Angus 83.

We stopped in for an early dinner after a day of leaf peeping along the Delaware River. Our server, Erica, asked if we had eaten here before. We said 'no' and she came back with a complimentary plate of fried green tomatoes, which were excellent, as we considered our choices. We split an order of bacon tater tots to start. The tots were homemade and tasty. She ordered a steak and I had the surf and turf special. The steaks were ultra-tender, cooked to perfection and tasty. The lobster claw meat topping my steak was succulent and the real deal. Fresh asparagus completed my meal. Three beers between us and with no room for dessert, the tab came to $75. Superb food and a great value and friendly service -- well worth a visit. Don't let the building's exterior make you think twice about dining here.

This place is amazing. Incredibly lovely decor and the nicest staff you could ever meet. Most importantly, food was delicious! We came here on a slow lunch hour but despite that we were very impressed with everything the staff did to make it a safe and wholesome environment.

Services was truly A++ and "On Point" - Not only did we get attention from our Waitress Shyanne, but - received incredible love and attention from all the staff in this restaurant. We were VERY PLEASED with the price of our meals. Food was very good! Make sure you try the garlic bread - it was truly delicious. We attempted to dine outdoors, but - it was just too cold for us. Shyanne was kind enough to find a spot for us indoors. Food was fresh and cooked with love. Thank you for social distancing and for ensuring that staff was wearing mask.Yes - this is truly a hidden gem; a bit rustic - But, this place has charm. Make sure you ask about how 1/2 this place is located in New Jersey and the other half is in NY. Very interesting! ;-)

This place is unique it sits Half in NY and half in NJ you can actually sit in each state on the restaurant floor. The food is really good and the service is good as well. you can tell the chef takes pride in his work.

AMAZING FOOD! This place is the definition of a hidden gem, off the beaten path in Port Jervis. We were passing through and decided to stop, and so glad we did. Almost everything is homemade, including the dressing, condiments, desserts, etc. I had the NY strip steak and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had - so tender and full of flavor. My girlfriend had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was so flavorful and the portion was massive. We had the homemade apple cinnamon bread pudding for dessert - sooooo good! We are already planning another trip through the area so we can stop at Angus 83 again!

The place was smokey so no ventilation system or it doesn't work well at all so anyone with asthma and breathing issues should stay clear. Waitress didn't know what hollandaise sauce was and if the ribs were wet or dry. After all that I decided to play it safe with a burger and ask for it extra well cause this was not starting off well at all. Got our food and the fries had garlic salt on them. Nothing about them being seasoned fries in the menu. Owner stated to the gentleman I was with that we should tell them no garlic. Well if you don't put that they r seasoned fries most places will just use salt so why would anyone think to say that. Your are the one trying to sell your food and get people in your doors so where does that become the customers responsibility? That info should b in the menu as for their are people with food allergies and the public should b informed. The food was good otherwise as the guys liked it and want to go back. With that attitude I don't think I will b joining them.

The food here is excellent. Service is also first class. They also are very conscientious with mask wearing and social distancing. Highly recommend! Had the mixed grille with ceaser salad. Steaks are a specialty

Such an underrated place. Thir garlic parm wings were to die for and the wedge salad sounds weird but it's amazing with their homemade dressing. Highly reccomend it's never packed so it's corona safe and the staff is so pleasant. Will def come here many many times.

we just finished canoeing and was starving. we stumbled upon this restaurant to our surprise the food was AMAZING and service was VERY GOOD as well the staff. everyone wore mask and very clean inside! our server erica was amazing

The appearance of this place looks deceiving... BUT it was a great experience. The food is absolutely AMAZING and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was super friendly. Kudos to the chef! Everything we ordered from appetizers to the main entre was so tasteful and delicious!!!! Definitely would recommend this place!!!
