Been coming here for years..the sushi and quality of fish is amazing! The service is decent and the ambiance is nice. Good spot for a casual family dinner. The bar is nice and restaurant space is large. Located right next to Ports train station.

Very clean inside. We both had Chirashi, it was very fresh sashimi and great seasoning on the rice.

We tried this place for the first time tonight based on a suggestion, and we are so glad we did. The service was amazing, the ambiance was perfect, and most importantly, the fish was unbelievably fresh and delicious. I can confidently say this is the best sushi I have had in Port Washington in years, and will be coming back soon.

Hana has quickly become our choice for sushi in Port Washington. The quality is excellent, the service is attentive, the atmosphere is great, and the prices are perfect. Highly recommend making a reservation on the weekends.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I found this Japanese restaurant to be just "okay." We came for sushi, and while my daughter and son-in-law love this place, I just found it to be uninspired. Sushi places where I'm from are in abundance, and most of them are excellent. My husband and I have our favorites, to be sure. I just found that Hana's sushi rolls were on the "plain" side, and in fact, I didn't find the listed ingredients for each roll to be that noticeable. Yes, I could see everything, but in terms of taste, it was just kind of blah. For instance, the truffle salmon, which my daughter loves, yes, it had salmon, and it had truffle oil, but it didn't move a mountain for me in terms of flavor, either. All rolls were also on the smallish size, so it wasn't like there was a lot to bite into with each piece. They didn't even offer any of the usual sushi sauces (that I'm used to in SoCal), i.e., ponzu, eel, spicy mayo. There wasn't even enough soy sauce for us; we had to share sparingly. I'm sorry to say, this place is a miss for me. I didn't even bother to take photos of the rolls. Nothing impressed me.

Let me start by saying Hana sushi was the best Chinese Sushi around about 1 year ago. The sushi was room temperature with fluffy rice and fresh fish that would melt in your mouth. I was impressed because I would only find this quality in authentic Japanese sushi restaurants. The Spicy mayo you would get was homemade white in color with red flake’s typical of an authentic Japanese sushi place. However, today the Sushi was completely different! Quality was completely gone with new ingredients. Sushi was served chilled with mushy rice and dark orange spicy mayo premade typical of a standard Chinese sushi restaurant. The sushi served here now can be obtained in any sushi restaurant on Long Island and will be allot cheaper!Anyone that values quality Sushi would understand the lost of quality. I hope the restaurant recognizes the issue and corrects it l, because this restaurant has the potential of being the best sushi around! However with increased inflation and Americans not caring about quality there would be no reason for a change especially if they are saving cost. Sad!

Great Japanese spot in the port Washington neighborhood. We had a party of 10, ordered a large sushi/sashimi, 5 different rolls, a couple appetizers and udon for the kiddos. The fish was good quality. The udon was an adult size even though it was from the kids menu. Everything was excellent. Check came out cheaper than I thought for that quality.
