Terrible service, overpriced. They made me wait for 40 minutes. No one would help me and the I was told we sorry but we forgot to start your order. If I could give zero stars I would.

We came for early dinner on Sunday given the great reviews however we had a very disappointing experience and an even worse meal. The food had no flavor, the service was pretty bad and our food took an hour to come to our table. We were the only ones in the whole place with the exception of one other table and yet the food took so long. The employees didn’t seem to care much and we didn’t see a manager present to give our feedback or even ask for help. Needless to say we are not going back and we are definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

I went to Jia with my friend yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was that the table was so sticky that I couldn’t even move my plate. I asked a waitress to clean the table, and she said the table was "DESIGNED to be like this."
I’m not sure why a table would be “designed to be” sticky, but I spilled my drink because it was hard to move my glass. No one cleaned the table afterward. As an Asian, I always do my best to support Asian-owned restaurants, but the service at Jia is below average and very disappointing.
As for the food, I like the elevated presenting, but the overall quality is just average considering the price. The hot and sour soup tasted like they poured an entire bottle of vinegar into it, and the duck in the fried noodles was not freshly made. Will not go there again.

Wonton soup was good, pork buns were okay but small, lamb pot stickers also okay, Duck noodles entree was a good portion, duck was a little dry. For a dim sum place it is very expensive especially when compared to traditional and authentic dim sum where they serve from carts. Service was very slow, good thing we weren't in a rush. Food was okay but not worth the over $100 bill for 2 people with no drinks. Not planning on going back anytime soon.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. My family cleared every plate brought out, including dessert, which is a rarity. Plus no one felt tired or uncomfortable afterwards (a testament to the high food quality). Honestly this place sets the bar high for any asian restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: As someone who can't eat beef or pork this restaurant had plenty of poultry and seafood options.

Off the beaten path, but great spin on traditional Chinese food. Well positioned for being a step above average Chinese food and not being over fancy or overpriced. Recommend trying this place for its modern twist on traditional Chinese food.

Living in Los Angeles & having been to dozens of dim sum restaurants there, Hong Kong, and Canton, we found this restaurant to be cut above! Gourmet preparation with tremendous attention to details. Each dish was tasty with distinctive flavors. It’s more expensive than typical dim sum restaurants, but considering the quality & great service it’s worth it. Sodas don’t have refills. The “BOBO Farms Tea-Smoked Crispy Chicken” was our highlight, but every dish was very special.
The service by David & Alex was very friendly & professional. The atmosphere is bright and airy, parking is easy & free.
I wish they had a restaurant near where we live, either in Sarasota or Los Angeles.

REALLY expensive for what it is - especially for delivery. Food is just average. 2 stars for value. Maybe like…3 stars for the food? Over $30 for minimal portions and doesn’t even come with rice. Bummed bc I had heard this place is good.

Food (especially Peking duck) was pricey but good, but the blonde short haired waitress would charge you $3 for EACH tiny cup of tea or refill, which was ridiculous. The waitress looked very overwhelmed even though there were only 2 tables at lunch, so service wise wasn’t the best experience. At least 2 items we asked for during lunch weren’t available (despite being on the lunch menu), think operationally there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Loved this place! It’s great to have this variety of cuisine in Port Washington.
Shrimp stuffed jalapeño poppers were crunchy and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Soup dumplings had a nice complex flavor to the broth.
The star of the show is the Peking duck. Right amount of crunch and melts in your mouth. You don’t have to worry about getting a bone except the wings and legs of course. They gave us a little cup of the juice that comes off the duck when cooking. Lots of different spices!
The manager was so outgoing and shows he really cares about the business and the people in the town. We had a great conversation.
I’ll be back with friends! Thank you
