This restaurant has always been a staple of Port Washington, in my opinion is one of the best restaurants they have in the town. Peruvian in Japanese fusion really works, and I love the Blend of flavor. Service is really good. They’re friendly, but I guess it also helps that we frequent the area and a lot of the servers I believe are locals. Selection of food they have is really good and it’s definitely one of the spots that recommend people to go to.

My family of five collectively agree that Nikkei of Peru is our favorite restaurant. Among our favorite dishes include: Usuzukuri, Taco Taco Bites, Rosemary lamb chops, eggplant chips, beef dumplings, which are small plates. The yellow tail scallion roll, ocean roll, salmon avocado rolls are also always on our table.
The atmosphere is casual, with outdoor seating overlooking Manhasset Bay, which is an added bonus. Trying to make a reservation while I write this review.

Best sushi in port Washington- Definitely my new go to. I ordered the Port Washington roll and Titanic roll and they were absolutely decadent. My father ordered the sushi special and he was shocked with how tasty and uniquely crafted each nigiri was. This plate is something you’d order at a NYC Omakase for 10x the price. My mother got the spicy lemon shrimp and was absolutely obsessed with it.
We started with the crispy rice ( just like nobu) shisito peppers and the yellowtail jalepeno. Simply delicious.

Great food and service.
It's just a bit too tight in space.

Very cute setup. Basically, you eat in a converted garage. In the summer, there is outdoor seating.
Vegetarian options: I liked the huge mushroom soup. Also the fried eggplants are exotic.

We love the flavors attached to inventive food. We only wish the menu could be varied more. We go often and would enjoy new choices. Overall, its one of the more creative restaurants on Long Island.

Although the food was great, the portion size was a little small. The seating area is small and relatively loud.

Food is good, but not too close to Peruvian Nikkei, Pisco sour is terrible, that need to hired a Peruvian bartender and chef
