My wife and I really liked Toscanini. This was a spur of the moment decision to look for Italian after finishing up a John Ford cd release party at the Port Washington library (a very good concert BTW). The restaurant exudes old world charm. Our waiter was engaging and the service was reasonably quick. Must mention the generous wine pours we received. I love eggplant, so I had the Farfelle eggplant marinara which was delicious. I must add the homemade bread they served was also...

What an incredible dining experience. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely outstanding — from the appetizers to the dessert, everything was prepared perfectly and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every item exceeds expectations, but this place truly delivered.

A local gem. How have we not been going here all these years? Freddy (sp?), the owner, hosted a party for our friends and what a wonderful experience. He and the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The Toscanini salad comes with a great dressing. The chicken Anthony was clean the plate good. The penne Diane was delicious and a tremendous take the leftovers home portion. We were there for 4 hours but the time flew by because we had such a great time.
