Came here pre-renovation during soft opening because of a mail flyer. They gave me 15% off every meal during that week! Totally worth it, and an amazing deal. They also have super fresh sashimi. The head chef/owner came out to personally thank us for supporting his new venture and told us he gets his fish fresh daily. Ended up ordering take out two more times that next week because we couldn't pass it up. Other than fresh sashimi we loved the tartare and stir fry noodles. He even made customized rolls for my kids.

The people are extremely kind and they are super fresh and the food is so tasty. I really love this sushi place it’s so cute and homey in a nice way. The cook was so polite as he came out to greet me and my mom and we had a wonderful conversation. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

Every detail was perfect! Such a peaceful atmosphere, absolutely delicious homemade vegetable gyoza, and the sushi was so tasty. Thoughtful touches like some eel on the house and a tasty Japanese candy on the way out made our night. Could not recommend this gem more!

Fish was excellent, fresh and the right temperature, perfect execution. Chef was warm and welcoming. It would add to the vibe and the authentic feel if he was out front working rather in the back kitchen leaving the counter area completely empty. Waitress today…has the potential to prevent this promising new restaurant from becoming established in Port Washington yet another staff member probably needed to take care of phone orders etc. Otherwise, I would go there for their sushi and sashimi over Hana, Nikkei of Peru or Tiga for sure. Thankful we didn’t go to our usual and finally gave it a go.

Went there for lunch on a sushi craving. Met the owner and he was so hospitable and nice. Food was very fresh and sushi had some unique touches, charred strip bass and Bluefin Tuna appetizer was very good. Something new for me.
