Our first, but definitely not last, time at 1/2 Ton's Bar & Grill. My wife had a turkey club that she said was DELICIOUS! It was made with real sliced turkey, not deli meat. Lots and lots of bacon on it, too! I had the chicken bacon ranch on rye, and it was also superb! A crispy coated real juicy chicken breast. Very good! Overall it was a pleasant first time there. We'll be back. 👍

I have been dying for a buffalo chicken wrap and just had my night utterly ruined by trying to make that dream a reality through 1/2 Ton's tonight. The first wrap, at $17 NOT including fries (and extra $3), didn't even have buffalo sauce. It was chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion on a wrap - that's it. You'll see in the photo what a depressing sight the $20 meal was. So we called and got a larger, greasier, maybe ever so slightly closer to buffalo chicken wrap than before. Awful. So bad I won't eat it, which is saying something. I'm not sure what they're using for buffalo sauce, but it didn't have any flavor and made everything so greasy and slimy that I couldn't even hold the wrap without it wriggling away.
I gave it 2 stars because my husband says the wings are great.

Food: 5 stars – The wings were outstanding—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. Service: 3 stars – The staff themselves were super friendly and clearly hardworking. I genuinely feel bad for them because management left them hanging. It was graduation weekend in a college town, and the place was severely understaffed. The crew that was there did their best under pressure, but they were clearly overwhelmed—and that’s on management, not them. Atmosphere: 1 star – This was a huge letdown. It’s supposed to be a sports bar, but they don’t have cable or streaming services? No live Knicks playoff game, no Yankees vs. Mets—just YouTube reruns on the TVs in a New York sports bar? That’s almost unthinkable and really takes away from the experience. Overall, the food is great, the staff are awesome, but the place needs serious attention from management—both in planning for big weekends and in actually offering what a sports bar should.
Mozzarella sticks were burnt & old fryer grease taste. Pizza was soggy & horrible tasting. Fish special was soggy and very greasy. Small portions for expensive prices. No refills on drinks. Had to ask for plates to eat pizza & utensils also. Will not be returning…Unfortunately.

01/08/2025 I love Ton’s food and normally get great service so for my buddies 21st birthday I thought it was gonna be great choice for celebrating. Unfortunately like every new 21 year old he had a punched NYS ID and a NYS paper temp ID and being that he didn’t have an alternative he was refused service. We went to 8 different bars that night and he was only refused service at tons .

Sad honestly sad. I’m not typically the one to leave bad reviews but this place just was not worth the money! 19 dollars for a mid tier burger and a bag of lays wavy potato chips! If I wanted that I would’ve went to Stewart’s and I would’ve paid 5 bucks! Seriously don’t bother spending your money here!
