I absolutely devoured my whole breakfast burrito without even realizing it and paired it with a delicious strawberry banana smoothie. then had to go back and get another smoothie cuz it was so good! the pitaya is just as yummy and so pretty!!! completely obsessed with this place and will definitely be a frequent customer!”

“Hadn't been here in a month or so. A friend & myself stopped in. My friend order a BLT & I got a Swiss Mushroom Burger. Both came with fries. I asked for medium rare to rare and the waitress said that was fine. But it came as medium well or well done. Since I ordered waffle fries & was not told they were $1 more(which was not a big deal) The burger was tasty and big. Just wish it had been rare like I asked. If they couldn't do it, I would have requested something else. I didn't say anything to the waitress as its the cooks fault. All in all the food is good & we will be back, but no burger.”

“Been driving by this restaurant for years now stop for the first time today had the best food ever they're smashed hamburger meats fresh hamburger meat it was great their fries were awesome everything was hot delicious my favorite sandwich that I had was the French dip it was just tender and delicious bathrooms with spotless and the waitress was sweet as can be and she was right on the money highly recommend this place for the food was unbelievably delicious and their coffee tasted like coffee not dishwater”

The employees should get a higher raise for being so kind, polite, welcoming, and patient. In my opinion I would give Scoops my #1 go to ice cream place. Keep up the amazing work. “If you are looking for fantastic food, speedy service, and a great atmosphere in Potsdam, Maxfields is the place to be.
From the second we arrived, the service was impressive. We only had to sit down for maybe two or three minutes before a waitress practically ran across the restaurant to seat us without delay. Once seated, our waitress was incredibly nice, kind, and lightning-fast with getting everything we needed throughout the entire meal.
I ordered the fish tacos, and they were outstanding—juicy, served on soft, nice corn tortillas, and loaded with generous portions of fresh, well-cooked fish. You definitely get a great amount of food for what you pay. Beyond the meal, the atmosphere really completes the experience. We sat outside looking right over the river, which provided a relaxed, picturesque backdrop and an overall awesome vibe.
To say this place was a breath of fresh air would be an understatement—it was 100 times better than The Lobster House in Norwood. Where The Lobster House feels like entering a gloomy, dimly lit room of impending doom with speed-of-a-snail service and food that belongs in a biology lab, Maxfields actually knows how to treat its guests and serve exceptional meals.
This place is a thousand percent better than The Lobster House and easily one of the best restaurants in town. I highly recommend eating here!”

“Decent prices and good food. I frequently get the beef and broccoli dinner combo for about $12.95 and it's always enough for 1.5 meals for me. The beef here tastes higher quality than the Asian buffet in Potsdam. I actually prefer how slimy and thick the Asian buffets beef and broccoli is though. But A-1 kitchens gives a large portion and it tastes healthier and higher quality. I do wish that the ratio of beef to broccoli was changed to have more beef, but that's just me. My father has mentioned that he thinks the ratio is perfect. The egg rolls, fried rice, and crab Rangoon from here are also good. I order take out from here about once a month and I will definitely continue to do so in the future!”

“This is coming from someone who used to hate little Italy. After Covid almost every place cut corners and went cheap. Idk how but little Italy is the only place I’ve seen get at minimum 5 times better. Easily the best pizza in Potsdam. And it used to not be close.”

“I did a large takeout order at work for 15 people and the staff at Thai cuisine executed it flawlessly. The communication of pre ordering, pickup time and readiness, and food quality was 10/10. “Our first, but definitely not last, time at 1/2 Ton's Bar & Grill. My wife had a turkey club that she said was DELICIOUS! It was made with real sliced turkey, not deli meat. Lots and lots of bacon on it, too! I had the chicken bacon ranch on rye, and it was also superb! A crispy coated real juicy chicken breast. Very good! Overall it was a pleasant first time there. We'll be back. 👍”
