We've been wanting to stop and share a meal for over a year. We finally did and were pleasantly surprised. The place has great views, it's well-staffed, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Parking is simple and ample.Vegetarian options: Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower
Jake's is a nice place with good food and a great location with a deck on the water. I moved into the area last Fall and have a daughter at SLU and a son at Potsdam and when I offer to take them out for a meal, Jake's is usually the first place mentioned. My only gripe is probably a side effect of their success, we waited a long time in both instances to have our drink order taken. The first time it was 20 minutes, the second about 15 though it was half an hour before out drinks...read full review

It's a very busy place, it's in a beautiful location, it's upscale, the service is good, and they use top quality fresh ingredients. I really just stopped in because I heard they had good Brick Oven Pizza and good pizza is hard to find in Northern New York. It was definitely good and it was light.
