Great place out in the woods but still a short drive from everything. The food is great and the menu is filled with hilarious sarcasm. I need to go back a bunch to try more food.
Great experience. Fantastic food. A little loud and a little slow. Overall pretty good. A little pricey
Hadn't been here in a month or so. A friend & myself stopped in. My friend order a BLT & I got a Swiss Mushroom Burger. Both came with fries. I asked for medium rare to rare and the waitress said that was fine. But it came as medium well or well done. Since I ordered waffle fries & was not told they were $1 more(which was not a big deal) The burger was tasty and big. Just wish it had been rare like I asked. Although food may take a while to arrive, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it worth the wait. The owner, Ben, is known for being super friendly and genuinely caring about his establishment. Timber Tavern also has an excellent beer selection and entertaining menu descriptions, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends. The berry margaritas are so good that diners may want to bring a designated driver. For those visiting, the French Onion soup and ribeye come highly recommended, with one guest even calling it one of the best French Onion soups they have ever tried. This hidden treasure is definitely worth a visit.
