First off, it's freezing in there. If you have old windows, provide small space heater or something. We had to keep our jackets on and so did the wait staff. Half the ceiling lights are out. The waitress didn't serve our wine from the bottle. And the chicken piccata was cold, hard, and extremely salty. It came with a steak knife so that should tell you everything you need to know. Also, _8.99 for a side of pasta!?! With a chicken dish that came with no vegis or anything else. I've never had a more disappointing Italian meal in my life. Lastly, there is nothing complimentary for a birthday dinner. That on its own wouldn't have been a big deal (although unusual) but with the whole atmosphere/experience it was another knock. I came a few years ago for a graduation dinner and my filet mignon was tough. Turns out, it hasn't improved in the last 5 years. $100 I wouldn't spend again.

Suggest management review drink prices. $19 for a double captain Morgan & Coke. Added “alcohol fee” and added Credit card fee. Over $21. This isn’t NYC. Also the chicken in the Alfredo tastes boiled. Other than it was a nice atmosphere.

I have always liked this place, and it has the best bread I have ever had. You can't go wrong with their great Italian food in an old railroad station atmosphere. You may even see and hear a train pass by while you're dining. They even have outdoor dining and pizza in a wood fired oven. The bread is made there, too. Parking is plentiful as well, and prices are reasonable for the quality.

The restaurant was cold we cold breezes going thru the whole time. The food was not good. The salad was awful the dressing tasted spoiled I ate 2 bites and sent it away. They don’t have a kids menu or cups. For saying “family restaurant” it really didn’t feels like it. The pizza was ok.

We dined outside with a party of 4 and toddler and waited an an hour and 15 minutes for our food to be brought, then they only brought out two of the right pasta dishes (forgot the other two) and a pizza we had never ordered in general. The fettuccine Alfredo was hard as a rock almost unedible even when asked to be cooked soft. We had asked for water from three different people FIVE times and silverware three times. Absolutely do not recommend!

Absolutely horrible service, food was disappointing. Waited a hour and 15 minutes for our food, had to ask for water 5 times before they brought it. Forgot to make one of our food in general. Absolutely do not recommend!

I was in town on a work trip, looking for a great place for dinner. What a beautiful, elegant atmosphere! Fabulous dinner, friendy staff. The meals are a la carte. I ordered the shrimp scampi and a salad. Because I was so intrigued by the wood-fired pizza, I ordered a small one to go. No regrets, you must go!

We always go to Mama Lucias when visiting our son. We ordered our normal Palermo pizza. It was dark in color so we thought it was gluten free. They said their dough is now all sour dough. It was horrible. Chewy. NOT Italian. Big change big disappointment

Food was so good - manicotti was delicious. Partner enjoyed the steak.
Be mindful that there is no AC at this location - we were there in a heat wave and it was very hot inside - recommend sitting outside for a breeze!!

Mama Lucia offers a pleasant and inviting ambiance typical of a traditional Italian eatery, making it an attractive choice for those seeking a cozy dining atmosphere. Over the course of three visits, however, the food consistently fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the quality and flavor of the dishes, including the pizza, did not meet the standard one might expect from an Italian restaurant. In fact, the offerings compared unfavorably even to more casual chain alternatives like Pizza Hut.

While the setting may appeal to diners prioritizing atmosphere over culinary excellence, those in search of authentic, well-executed Italian cuisine may wish to explore other options.
