Back for a nostalgic visit with friends it was just as good as I remembered 20 years ago. Drinks and apps were delicious! I wish there were a bit more variety for apps but we made it work. Service was quick and done exactly how we asked for rounds of apps. Won't let 20 years go by before we visit again.
Service was good and attentive without being overbearing. I got the wings; they were cooked fine, nothing standout but no issues either. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable for a quick meal. Overall, a decent option if you’re looking for a straightforward place to eat.
Overall we had a great experience at Maxfield's! Our server, Emily, was very nice and attentive. The food tasted great! The one weird thing was the plating. My husband got a steak that was served in a bowl which makes it really hard to cut and manage. Our dessert (a cookie sundae?) was served in a narrow glass, looked almost like a champagne flute (but I don't think it actually was) so the chunks of cookies were kind of buried and the ice cream was hard to get to and...
