Delforno's is a beloved local gem, serving up delicious and simple food that keeps customers coming back. It offers home made foods available, like pasta and Mac and cheese for grab and go and great sandwiches. They have cold cuts and a small array of produce. They make the sandwiches on the spot. It is your typical ambiance, basically the neighborhood deli. If you’re in the area and want a classic New York deli experience, Delforno’s is a local, family-owned place that’s got that timeless feel. The food is incredible, every sandwich, every side, it’s all so good. The shelves have some Large canned peppers and tomato products from Italy, fresh Italian bread, and a well stocked freezer. The fried scrod sandwich was about $11 and well worth it. The fish fillet was generously portioned, dusted with Italian breadcrumbs and deep fried - not greasy at all. It was very light and flavorful, the round roll was fresh and the perfect vessel for this sandwich.
