Have been to Farmers and Chefs a few times. One time there was a nice, live band. The views off the deck are always beautiful.

The food is good. I was most impressed by the burgundy escargot appetizer. Last time I went I chose the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was decent.

I look forward to keeping Farmers and Chefs on my list of restaurants to patronize in the Poughkeepsie area.

I first experienced this restaurant when I was in Poughkeepsie for work and was so impressed- the salad that they had for a special that evening, the salmon off the entrée menu, the dessert - all delicious. I went back for a second time that same week because it was so good and again, they knocked it out of the park. This time I had the Ragu and the crème brûlée. The third time I went I actually drove out from NYC (because I think it is now my official favorite restaurant)...

I went on 10/22/2024 to the location on Albany Street in Poughkeepsie N.Y. Today is my mom Birthday we had a party of seven. When we arrived we were told they don't have big table for our size party. They managed to add a table. The food was a 1.5 Everyone fries were over cooked the chicken was dry not a bit of Honey was tasted on the sandwiches. Tap water warm little to barely no ice. It took over 30 minutes to receive our meals no bread sticks salad nothing offered...
