I was skeptical because of some of the reviews. But, I’m really glad I gave it a chance. I had the brisket sandwich, and it was perfect. I could taste the light, mesquite smoke flavor, the sauce, and the flavor of the meat. I usually find most BBQ places over compensate with either too much smoke (meat tastes like an ash tray) or too much sauce. (can’t taste anything except Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce) I was very happy and impressed that this was not the case. The fries were crisp, and the coleslaw was delicious. REALLY great value.

I was pleased to be greeted by the owner, Carlos when I picked up my takeout order. He was extremely generous to offer samples of their homemade sauce and seemed enthusiastic to share his food it made me excited to eat!

I chose Geneva’s Blues House to host my retirement party. It provided an intimate yet spacious setting for my needs. The food was beyond delicious and the presentation was beyond my expectations. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. I would have an event there again. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

I stopped in while I was at work and figured I’d try it. I was greeted by a nice young lady at the bar.I ordered chopped bbq with Mac and cheese and collard greens. It came with cornbread.The wait was not long at all. I waited less than 15 minutes. Let me tell you it was so good. The flavor was on point. I definitely look forward to eating here again. Thank you for your good service.

Very erratic hours. I tried three separate times this past spring & summer (2024), both afternoons & evenings, to pay a visit & place an order, but each time it was closed. One time I ran into a DoorDash driver who was equally baffled. If you attempt to call ahead, you might get a recorded message about the month of May 2024. If this survives, it might be as a club & bar rather than as a reliable restaurant.

Ordered waffles and chicken.The waffle was burnt black. The chicken had no seasoning at all. Bland. Complained about the burnt waffle. The chef blamed it on the machine, He took no responsibility for selling a burnt waffle to a client. He was confrontational and borderline rude on the phone. He offered no apology nor any compensation. We wanted to support this restaurant. Sad to say I will never return here again. Sincerely hope they make it.
