I was skeptical because of some of the reviews. But, I’m really glad I gave it a chance. I had the brisket sandwich, and it was perfect. I could taste the light, mesquite smoke flavor, the sauce, and the flavor of the meat. I usually find most BBQ places over compensate with either too much smoke (meat tastes like an ash tray) or too much sauce. I was pleased to be greeted by the owner, Carlos when I picked up my takeout order. He was extremely generous to offer samples of their homemade sauce and seemed enthusiastic to share his food it made me excited to eat!
I chose Geneva’s Blues House to host my retirement party. It provided an intimate yet spacious setting for my needs. The food was beyond delicious and the presentation was beyond my expectations. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. I would have an event there again. Definitely a 10 out of 10.
