Barton is nice but went to Friday trivia night. Worst run trivia I have ever been to. Started late and ridiculous time between each question. Host seemed to be preoccupied doing other things than run the game.Just left after awhile. They should get someone else to run it.

Visited here for the first time to attend a birthday party. Vibes and drinks are great, and Ahmed is a gem!

Love this place. We rented it out for a couples wedding shower. The brewer and bartender (Ahmed) were so accommodating and just the best people. The place was the perfect setting for our event. Many told us so. Not to mention the beer and drinks were awesome. I would def recommend this place.

If you can get served a beverage you are one lucky person! Waited the bar 10+ mins per drink and was told we could not order food until they were ‘caught up’. Once we did get food, it was probably the lowest quality frozen product one could buy. Beer/cocktail/wine selection was good. If you have 4 hours for trivia, this place is for you. Questions were 7 per round and one round took an hour to complete. Very painful process and left all opportunity for teams to cheat for the answers. I think if you’re a regular it appears you will get treated better though!

Really awesome draft list of craft beers in a cozy spot! We sat at the bar and had great service. Some of the best Kolsch and a delicious NY farm hazy ipa we’ve ever had.

Delicious beer. Very welcoming atmosphere. For those who don’t enjoy beer they have ciders, seltzers, cocktails and mocktails.

We stopped in last Friday night for the first time as we were traveling through the Hudson Valley area. We were lucky to get two seats right at the bar as they had trivia which was well attended but we did and the service was great! The beer was great as well, everything we had we enjoyed, and we really loved the coconut stout (Shadow of Mordor). It was a quick visit for us unfortunately but we have Kings Court marked as a definite return to when back near Poughkeepsie!

Kings Court Brewing offers that authentic, down-to-earth, local watering hole vibe. Tucked into downtown Poughkeepsie, it’s the kind of spot where you will encounter a group of friends spending a laid-back Sunday playing board games in the back and the daily barflies in their usual seats up front. The space is family-friendly, with a casual setup and a solid mix of games to keep everyone entertained.

The beer lineup leans both creative and classic, with standouts like Shadow of Mordor—a barrel-aged pastry stout with coconut and vanilla. It’s silky smooth with a surprisingly restrained sweetness, making it easy to forget the high ABV. We also really enjoyed the Dutchess West Coast IPA, brewed with Amarillo and Cascade hops—crisp, piney, and just bitter enough to say hi. Kings Court is a great call if you're after good beer, a relaxed vibe, and a true local feel.

Coming from out of town only to see its closed for a private event. Didn't realize I needed to reach that level of elite to wet my whistle. I'm more pissed off that I paid for parking before I saw that.

Came here since we're getting married in the area and initially one of the presumed owners weas really welcoming and suggested we could work with them to have a welcome event here. However, they did take 2 weeks to respond to our email and eventually told us another larger party would be getting our date. While I understand we did not have a contract or money exchange of any sort, it was really disappointing it took them 2 weeks to mention that after we discussed dates in person and they did not verbalize any issues or hesitancy with our date. While it does seem like a fine place to grab a beer, I would not recommend planning an event here.
