Food was phenomenal! I had chicken Mahoneys and it was to die for!
Had two bowls of the cheddar potato soup during trivia tonight. It was delicious, and I'd love to get the recipe from them! HV Trivia Co was also great!
My friend and I went here for a comedy night. Food was good, service was good but at the end of the show, one of the waitress bumped into me and I thought it was a mistake and then again she bumped into me twice and then began to curse at me for not moving. And when I went to go talk to the manager she says go ahead he’s my husband. I will never go back to this raciest place.

David was our serve Mr and was amazing. He took great care of our party, was conversational but not overbearing, and despite having a busy house made sure to keep checking on our food and service highly recommend this place for small gatherings!

We found out why they only have 3 stars. The spicy margaritas were only water and tequila with a few jalapeño pieces thrown in (worst drink she has ever had and did not drink). The shock top had no orange garnish which I get it is picky but whatever. No water, silverware, or napkins served. The bar type food was ok. But right across from the trains so that kept us entertained. Would not return.

I visit Mahoney’s twice a week, always enjoying a Guinness and my favorite dish, the pan-seared salmon. However, today’s experience was extremely frustrating. After waiting 43 minutes for my food, I checked with the bartender, only to find out that while the staff had placed my order, the chefs never received it because they weren’t checking if the printer was working.
I appreciate the effort the staff put in to manage the situation, but this kind of miscommunication is unacceptable. Management should ensure that both staff and chefs are on the same page, and that equipment like printers is regularly checked to avoid such issues. Supervisors should be more hands-on, checking in with both customers and the team to ensure everything is running smoothly.

I went there with a party of five. Ribeye special and the Cajun seafood pasta was delicious. The Irish fare was not as good as usual.

Parking: They have some spots for the restaurant and you can use part of the train station parking area after 6 pm.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's not immediately clear but if you go to the end of the veranda farthest away from the train station, you can get onto it without steps.

Great burger. One of my favorites. Amazing service. Props to server Craig. Mule was on point. I know where I'm getting food when I'm back in area for work again.

If you take the train to Poughkeepsie, maybe to do the beautiful walk over the hudson, make sure you stop at Mahoney's. A bit of a dive bar with a bunch of characters but definitely a nice vibe. The tap beer was cold, the wings were good and the service was great. Big shout out to Trenton who is a quality bar tender.

The bar food is to die for! I am drooling on my cellphone just thinking about it!! I attended a conference about epilepsy and we had salmon, Chicken Marsala and Caesar Salad, in very large portions. The restaurant is huge and the ambience/decorations are unique to each room. Each room has its own bar. I can't wait till next year's conference!
Vegetarian options: When dining there, think bar food, and lots of it!
Dietary restrictions: The chef kindly respected my diet restrictions, as I am on a no sugar, no fat and no salt diet.
Parking: Very large free parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: It really isn't a place for kids as they serve adult food in very large portions as well as have bars (alcohol) in every room.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp, accessible only to the ground floor but the restaurant has a 1st floor above the ground floor. I don't know if they have an elevator.

I went for karaoke and it was really cool. It was super crowded, and what I loved about it was that everyone who was singing and hanging out were just in their own little bubbles doing their own thing. It was a fun time, and I'd be back again. Although I didn't perform myself, it was great to watch other people perform and just have fun.
Another thing I loved was that it gave me an underground speakeasy vibe ?.
