Mike and Joe's Brick Oven Pizza and Italian Restaurant

After paying, customers must check whether the price on the bill is correct. Yesterday, the salesperson overcharged me $4.

I have only ordered here thru doordash. The vodka spinach ravioli is sooo good and creamy.

I have hesitated to write this review because I really wanted to give them a chance to improve, but we have ordered delivery from Mike and Joe's about a half a dozen times in the last few months, and there hasn't been a single time when our order was correct. My husband has ordered a few different chicken sandwiches and wraps, and has never received what he asked for. The quality of the ingredients has also been lacking, with greens that were goopy and far from fresh, and small, tough bits of chicken. A friend who ordered the buffalo chicken wrap said the same thing. I do enjoy their salad pizza and I don't understand why the ingredients for that are vastly fresher than what they put in the heroes and wraps.

The restaurant was willing to send out a second sandwich when my husband called after receiving the totally wrong order again recently, but the rest of us were done with dinner by then (and they sent balsamic dressing instead of marinara sauce with the second hero, so even that one wasn't correct.)

Mistakes happen to everyone, but please remember that when people are spending their hard-earned money on dinner after a long day at work and are just looking forward to enjoying their meal, it's incredibly frustrating and disappointing to receive food that isn't right and isn't fresh. I hope the restaurant will use this feedback to improve in the future.

Beautiful food, probably one of if not the best restraunt in the Hyde park. I’d pick this over any of the other pizza places, or Italian places around here as their pasta is spectacular. 11/10 spot and is a must go if your passing through or if you live in the area

Ordered a calzone. Can't believe they put this in the box! I guess the burnt color was not enough to make me a new one. Both sides burned.

Great pizza! Thin, a bit undercooked but still very good!

Extremely disappointed. This pizza may have been the worst I’ve ever had. The slices had no flavor, no sauce on them, and truly were disgusting. The mozzarella sticks were ridiculous— dry and crusty. Straight out of the freezer. For $32, I wish I had gone to a better pizzeria. They should be ashamed of the product they’re putting out. Please don’t waste your money here, they don’t know what they’re doing.
