Been a while since I've ordered from here because the lines have gotten long as of late. In other words, Jamaican cuisine has blown up in popularity in the 'burbs in the post-COVID era! Their Jerk dry rub is phenomenal, but I don't mind a little bit of jerk sauce on top.
Owner of establishment does not pay his employees. That is not right is disgusting and he should not receive your business.

I wish I would of read the reviews before going here. I went years ago when they first open the two women who served there were lovely and the food tasted like my aunties made it. I ordered 3 orders of oxtail. They were tough and not cooked. Carrots were hard. Cabbage was raw. The gentleman was quite while serving us. Probably bc he knew we were about to be disappointed. He should be ashamed. Definitely will not return.

I don't normally write bad reviews but this place had to be the worst food and service I've ever had. The owner served me and when I asked how long ago the meat had been cooked BECAUSE THE TOP WAS ALL HARD AND CRUSTY he said it was just cooked and that I don't know anything about Jamaican food. I have a Jamaican husband and it ALL THE TIME. So against my better judgement because I was STARVING I paid for it and ate it and wound up in the bathroom all night. DO not I repeat do not eat at this place. If i could give negative 5 stars I would.

I stopped by Scotch Bonnet while in the Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall. The food was delicious and the young lady that served me and my daughter was extremely pleasant. I definitely recommend this establishment!
