Food was decent, Atmosphere was very nice. And also, my server was very accommodating, although Sushi chef that prepared my plate, which was very nicely arranged. But the only thing I was not happy with was that he put my plate on top of the bar after he was done. Where someone was standing right in front of it, and person's face was literally breathing onto my food.
I have loved this place since I was a teenager (I am now in my 30s). I no longer live in NY, but Sushi Village is always worth a visit when I am in town! High quality, fresh sushi for really good value.
Sushi was good although one of the rolls that were supposed to be vegetable, came with crab, which had it not been pointed out to me by a friend would’ve been very unfortunate to accidentally eat. That being said, they remade the rolls and let someone who could have crab at our table. Keep the incorrect ones. They had gluten-free soy sauce which was great for my gluten-free friends, and no one seemed to have any reactions from their celiacs
