Great little place. They get your food fast for you. They know you have a train to catch. Super friendly. I go often.
Not exactly charming. Coffee is prepared with a cheap super-auto machine, so the lattes and espressos are solidly average. Sports tv plays loudly while guys waiting for the train sip coffees under florescent lights.
Always a pleasure to support local businesses. When your in the area make sure to stop by The Coffee Bean Cafe right by the train station and Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie. Not only is the coffee amazing the food is too! The owner and team are incredible and make this a must stop anytime you’re in the area.

better atmosphere than Dunkin plus atm has only $0.99 withdrawal fee ,less crowded
Love this coffee spot watch the news in the morning before I get on the train
Check your receipt before you leave and make sure everything is on the menu and priced otherwise you'll be charged twice the amount for the same item you've ordered every morning for the past few months. Called the owner to inform her of the discrepancy she argued that was the correct amount. However she's been the one ringing me up every time I've been there for the same item every morning. Very disappointing!
I am a proud regular at The Coffee Bean! It is a deliciously warm, and welcoming atmosphere! I cannot possibly say enough about how much I adore this cafe!!!!!
I have to give props to any coffee shop that makes coffee ice cubes for their iced coffee
Nice barista but they do not have mugs and only serve coffee in plastic single-use cups. Cheesecake was good but was served in plastic box with a plastic fork.

Bizarre experience. I get that it's spring break and child care is difficult, but the owners kids were at our table from the minute we sat down. Piling toys on and around the table while we waited for food. Running up and down the restaurant, and the little girl who couldn't have been over 8 was pouring and drinking COFFEE. After fifteen minutes, they were asked to move their toys so we had room for food but were never asked to let us eat in peace. My four year old thought it was great, but we didn't come to babysit while eating lunch. The cooler was half empty, some things I ordered weren't available, and the food was just okay. We actually packed up our food and left before we had even finished.
Great egg sandwich with bacon, cheddar on a toasted roll & GREAT, friendly people running the place!
I went there with my sisters quite some time ago and the lunch was delicious!! The owner, Carol Ariola, is also very friendly and super nice!
The food was perfect for an afternoon snack. Make sure you try the French Dip. Excellent?
Great service and the coffee/latte was delicious. Reasonable priced. Pleasant atmosphere. Will definately go again. Perfect for the train ride to the city. Another guest was eating a salad that was loaded.
