Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff plus really inventive, well executed food is a formula for a wonderful experience. My only reservation would be the eye-watering cost of wines by the glass. I do understand it in a deep and high level bottle cellar but have questions otherwise.
Had a fantastic dinner. The service staff were perfect. The food & drinks were outstanding! We had the fried calamari - love the dipping sauce! Hubby had the lamb chops which he loved and I had the Black Sea bass - so many flavors that complemented each other so well. Crunchy potatoes were so yummy. And the chocolate lava cake was perfect. We've been coming here since it opened. Everything has just gotten better and better.
Fantastic ambience, excellent staff very attentive to everything in our party required. The food is excellent.
Amazing food and ambiance! The view of the woods behind is made even more beautiful by the fireplace between the windows. The crispy sushi and the tuna tartare are two of the best appetizers I've ever had. The mushroom bolognese is so thick and hearty that it will make you question whether it is a traditional beef bolognese! We'll be back!
Great service! The friendly, professional staff informed us of when they would take breaks and hand off to colleagues.
Everything was fantastic overall but it was my friends birthday and instead of writing Happy Birthday on the dish they wrote Happy Anniversary. Other then that it was all great 😊 People are human and they make mistakes
We really enjoyed our dinner here; although it was a bit loud on Saturday night, the downstairs dining area is still intimate. We had the truffle pizza and lobster, but the drinks were the highlight.

I’ve always considered The Inn at Pound Ridge to be the best of what Westchester and Connecticut has to offer in terms of dining. I looked at some recent reviews and was surprised to see some negative ones… There was no need for concern! As always the food and ambiance was wonderful and our server could not have been warmer or more attentive.

I have NEVER left a negative review, but felt it was necessary.
Our family of ten, scheduled an 80th birthday celebration on Saturday, August 10th. They gave us a lovely long table in their basement dining area. The restaurant appeared to be fully booked. The waitress greeted us and asked if anyone wanted drinks. We ordered at three bottles of wine. She took the orders for the appetizers and dinners. The appetizers came in a timely manner. It was downhill from there. We waited over 2 hours for a main course. We only saw the waitress when she asked if we wanted any additional drinks.
Who waits two hours for a main course??? Most of our family did enjoy the main course, but my meal was almost inedible. It was cod with muscles( or clams). The muscles were like rubber and I left them all. Actually, barely able to eat the fish as well.
We did not order dessert because at this point we just wanted to leave. They did bring a small dessert for me with a candle, which was a nice touch.
Why am I writing after several weeks have passed? My wife wrote to the catering department several days following the celebration. It was the only contact available online. She NEVER received any response.
I usually leave reviews for excellence, but an 80th celebration at a "fine" restaurant that cost us well over $1000.00 should have been very memorable.

We had the most amazing dining experience for my boyfriend's birthday. From the ambiance, to the exquisite meal, the cocktails, and the attentive wait staff, this restaurant is top tier in Westchester County.
I am an established photographer who did a Lunchin style wedding here this beautiful location i must start off by saying the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating with whatever we needed from reorganizing tables to get a good photo and what not, the location was beautiful inside and out very moody with a splash of color overall a great experience here are some shots i took on that beautiful day July 14th

The best meal of my life! I can't stop thinking about the Tomato, Strawberry, and Cucumber salad. The flavors were incredibly complex and balanced so well together. The pepper crusted beef tenderloin was definitely my other favorite! We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the special welcome for our 10th anniversary!
