Scrumptious! Pricey, but to be expected with cuisine of this caliber. The crispy breaded chicken was the best I've ever eaten; it came with a wonderful sauce and artichoke hearts. The service could have been more attentive, especially since we dined on a Sunday evening and several tables around us were empty. However, the food was great and beautifully plated.

Always great food and lovely decor. Service a bit unattentive and a bit too loud for easy conversation but love the food and menu and vibe. We'll be back.

We go there frequently and it's always a wonderful experience. The staff couldn't be nicer.

Food was amazing! Only reason to give 4 stars for service is because there must have been a server change in the middle of our meal and the new server did not know that we were celebrating a birthday(the original server knew but did not tell us they were leaving before our meal was over) so we did not get a birthday candle with our dessert. I know it's a small thing but it really is a nice touch when a restaurant brings out dessert with a birthday candle. Highly recommend the Crispy salmon sushi, Steamed shrimp salad, Herb crusted Salmon and the Peach cobbler!!

We LOVE the Inn and dine here frequently. We brought friends who had never been. The food was delicious, however something was very off with service. We waited over 15 minutes to place a cocktail order, then another 15 to place our order. The appetizers were delicious but the servers had no idea who had ordered which dish. 45 minutes passed, we couldn't find our server. We asked someone else to check on our main courses. She can out and said they were coming out “shortly”. Another 15 minutes. The pasta and salmon were perfect but the lamb chops and stead were definitely under heat lamps for a long time. And an order of potatoes came out after the appetizers not with the main. So we asked for a replacement because they were cold and we were charged for a second order. This was disappointing. Not the usual service or experience of a Jean George restaurant. Hopefully just an off night because we love the ambiance, location and usually the food!

Everything we had was delicious!! Thank you!! ♥️

Although the food was outstanding, the service was non-existent. 20 minutes for a drink...

I almost can't rave enough. We live close by and eat there every couple of weeks. We have favorites on the menu, but the menu changes enough that there's always something new to try. I tried their new Black Sea Bass recipe; poached with wild mushrooms, some slices of red jalapenos, and other magic. OMG. it is frigging wonderful. Not cheap. $58. My dinner companion had Hake, a fish that I had only had in an earlier iteration here. With fresh pea pods and some other subtle things, it was just perfect. If you're fortunate enough to be within 30-45 minutes of Pound Ridge, and fortunate enough to be able to afford Jean Georges, you'll be glad you came. Oh, and service was great.

Incredibly loud dining room. Busy place, service is outmatched by the volume. Entrees were forgotten either by the kitchen or sever. Entrees were comped because if the wait which was nice. Would not hurry back here.

I've been to many Jean-George restaurants in the Northeast, many times, over the last decade. I was shocked to find the food quality to be exceptionally poor. We ordered two kale salads and they were gritty. Clearly the kale had not been thoroughly washed. We couldn't eat them and had to leave them untouched. The other appetizers were fine, mediocre at best. The single standout dish was the side of spring snap peas with brown butter. All in all, we would not return, nor recommend.

It's been a year since our last visit as we no longer live in the area. The food and service were as perfect as our last visit. The lobster is my favorite dish and it was delicious. The soft shell crab starter was a wonderful edition. My husband, who isn't a foodie, was so thrilled with his meal, he said he'd eat at The Inn every night!

Disappointed with our service this time around. The wait staff was not attentive- water not filled, wine not filled (at a high level restaurant- they should pour), generally ignored. We've had great experiences here in the past, but our last visit was mediocre.

They were woefully understaffed and served blackened burnt bread that we sent back and were then told "we have no more bread". They also seated 2 people immediately whereas we were waiting to be seated for at least a half an hour after our reservation. Although the food was good, service is just as important and it seemingly does not matter at this place.

We had a delicious meal at a wonderful table in the main dining room. Can't wait to go back!

The food is always good but the service staff needs training. Leftovers were placed on the table before we were even finished. We were celebrating and I have to ask them to remove a huge bag so we could put a cake. I would expect better.
