Our food experience was outstanding. We order the the warm shrimp salad as an appetizer and I had the pecan encrusted salmon with a sweet and sour carrot sauce and my wife had the Swordfish Marsala. Both dishes were made to perfection and were very pleasing to the palate Highly recommend them
Such a special place! We celebrated a birthday and it was such a nice night- fireplace! Food! So comfy that I didn't want to leave!
We ordered tuna, tartare, a glass of champagne, the lobster with lime butter, and the fillet with miso mustard sauce, plus chocolate cake. Everything was superb, but we would really like the chef to bring back the lobster with chili butter, which is even more delicious.
Had a great experience. Staff did not mess up anything which is rare these days. The steak was unique and very good. Martini perfect
5/5! Suggested you to make a reservation before you go. My best friend took me with her grandma to their favorite restaurant to celebrate our friendship. I enjoyed all dishes. Inside of this restaurant is beautiful too. Fast service, delicious food, and great vibe. Highly Recommend!

If this was my first visit, I might not return. The steak for two was poorly prepared and took 45 minutes to arrive, with no explanation - making the other entrees cold by the time the food arrived. Not to mention, it was undercooked and had to be sent back (bloody is not medium). Not worth the cost.
Beautiful setting. When I booked I asked to be seated in the basement and let them know it was my birthday. When we arrived we were seated upstairs next to a table of 6 .Quite noisy; so we asked to be seated downstairs and were seated there. Service was excellent and our food was prepared as requested and was delicious. We were given a small dessert to celebrate my birthday. Valet parking was painless. Staff very friendly and informative.
Took my wife here for her birthday having had a good experience a few years ago. This visit was disappointing. We were put in the upstairs bar extension which was noisy and understaffed. The servers were trying but it was very slow. When you see a celebrity chef and high prices you expect something special with the food but on this occasion it was very underwhelming. The crispy salmon sushi is pretty much a slice of salmon on toast. My wife had the filet which was cooked well but the brussel sprouts were rock hard. I had the rigatoni and had high hopes for the 'smoked chill tomato ragu' but it ended up being bland and the pasta was going cold. A jar would have been tastier. I guess the Pound Ridge/Bedford crew will keep this place running with its average food and crazy prices but I'm not going back.

White linen tables in rustic decor. A nice selection of well prepared continental dishes; interesting cocktails and an adequate wine list. A good spot fo intimate dining

Jean-Georges, it has been quite a few years since we last visited. It was our 28th Wedding anniversary today, so as prompted by Opentable, I made a note to say this. The young girl on the host stand was hardly able to make eye-contact, so I did not hold my breath for a 'Happy Anniversary' acknowledgement. Our server was super friendly, so we took our time to order cocktails, apps and entrees, and a bottle of wine - we were celebrating! The Calamari was great. The Heirloom Tomatoes were good but over dressed with red wine vinegar - some blue cheese on there would be a game changer. The mains consisted of lobster and rigatoni pasta. Both delicious. We asked for our check and that was that. If you are going to set yourself up on restaurant reservations asking if it is a special occasion - at the very least say or do something. It costs you very little and will make people want to return.

Sad that the food was sub par. Seating was not full. Food was cold from sitting etc. JG needs to make a visit

Went to the Inn last night for dinner.
They were obviously incredibly short staffed.
The hostess - a young girl could not remember who anyone was and was out of her league.
One bartender for the whole restaurant who complained the whole time about how backed up he was (made a great drink though)
Old glasses and plates were left on the bar which made sitting there kind of gross.
When we went to the table it was incredibly lopsided and we had to ask the server to fix it. She put a piece of paper under the leg but 4 times during the night she had to redo it. Like they didn’t know that this was a consistent problem. The manager said it was the floor and nothing could be done - here’s a hint. Don’t put a table there?
There were two waiters for the entire restaurant and they were incredibly busy and did not have time to service us properly. You simply could not get their attention bc they were covering so many tables.
To make matters worse, food came out incredibly slowly and after waiting for our entre for 45 minutes we got up to leave and then it showed up -cold.
All in all a very disappointing experience and not what I had experienced when visiting there in the past especially for the price (100 per person).
