What's there to say about this wonderful spot with our favorite staff, the food and drink delights, and mindful deco? This is the spot you would hope to walk into in Pound Ridge, NY. Personality in every aspect, but without attitude. Lovely!

Great and cozy place with good waiters. I like to come there. I did not like an avocado toast. They used $1.60 avocado paste from a supermarket on a toast. Charged $12 for a piece of bread with some avocado paste. Shame. One large avocado cost $1.49. You can make 4 avocado toasts with just one avocado.

Visited The Kitchen Table in Pound Ridge and had a somewhat mixed experience—so I’m settling on giving it 4 stars but I think it should be closer to a 3.5.
Their coffee truly stood out. Both the cappuccino and vanilla latte I had were excellent—thoughtfully crafted and delicious.
Their service was excellent and the staff their were giggling, chatting with us and overall having a good time. I always had someone within reach to get help or answer questions even though it was really busy when we went.
The food is where I had my issues. I was slightly underwhelmed. My huevos rancheros lacked the expected crunch, and the beans seemed a bit under-seasoned. My wife's breakfast burrito was described as 'meh'. Given the price, I hoped for a little more in terms of flavor.
That said, their talent for brewing great coffee shines through. I hope to see some improvements in the food to match the wonderful beverage experience. I’ll definitely be back to savor another latte.

Stopped on a whim after a Saturday work appt, staff was so lovely and called me by name. I ordered the food to go, figuring I would take a bite and eat the rest when home. The breakfast burrito was so good that I may or may not have ate the whole thing in my car:) Also appreciate the real honey and think slice of lemon for my green tea! Will be my new go to passing through Pound Ridge for sure.

Don't go expecting traditional dining experience. Asked to pay and tip before meal and drinks are served. Frankly, I regret tipping given the following. Overpriced food only for it to come out on a paper plate and taste bland, over salted, or burnt. 1 of the kitchen staff had gloves on and the other didn't. I watched him grab a tortilla wrap, lick his fingers and continue cooking. Not recommended.
Thanks to McKenna! She is the main host behind the counter and very hospitable and personable! The owners as well are lovely people.
Wheelchair accessibility: They very gladly and quickly made room for a wheelchair at the most convenient table.

Ate here for the first time when they serve dinner on a Friday night. Very good tortilla soup, very good pork sandwich on brioche roll, and a really good brownie sundae. Lots of other items, primarily salads, sandwiches, and Mexican cuisine. Can’t wait to try their awesome breakfast from what I have read.
