Artie's HomeTown Diner Reviews
Fantastic breakfast. We stopped in today and had the country fried steak, eggs, home fries, and toast. Homemade bread toast. Absolutely fantastic breakfast and equally fantastic and friendly service. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
We arrived 30 minutes before closing (had no idea) and we were treated like royalty. No rushing, asked if we wanted dessert. Food was excellent (had lunch) and the vibe was friendly and welcoming! Great surprise on our journey!
Coming back to the hometown is always a delight. Arthur and Maria Wood have really done such and great job creating a place where someone can get real food expertly cooked. In the world of unhealthy " fast food " restaurants, Artie's diner is a shining bright light!

Artie's HomeTown Diner offers a cozy, homey atmosphere that feels just like a meal from grandma's kitchen. The interior is clean and updated, creating a welcoming space for both locals and visitors. The friendly staff, including attentive servers like Shanna, make sure every guest feels at home, taking orders quickly and keeping drinks topped off. The breakfast menu remains exceptional, with standout dishes like the spicy omelet and mac and cheese. The diner also serves great lunch and dinner options, including a delicious mushroom Swiss burger served on a toasted bun and a Reuben sandwich with fresh, crispy chips. Customers have enjoyed hot, tasty food and excellent service, with some noting that the turkey club is the best they ever had. The diner's Benedicts on weekends are also highly recommended. Though the service can get busy during peak times like the salmon run, the staff stays friendly and attentive. Owned and run by a very nice family, this quaint diner is a popular spot among locals and visitors alike, offering hearty, home-cooked meals in a clean, friendly environment. It’s a perfect place for a quick bite, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and is especially convenient for those heading to the nearby river.
