I ordered it after reading the Google ratings and reviews, but I was disappointed that it wasn't a good place to even give it a 1-star rating.

1. When I took a bite of the fish cake served as a side dish, it had a strong sour taste, probably because it had gone bad.
2. The gamjatang was sweet and did not have the taste or scent of gamjatang. (I don’t even understand why there is no beef in gamjatang)

Conclusion: Even if the food is being served to the owner's customers, I hope they will taste the food before leaving.
Sorry, but I ended up throwing it all away....

The food is very neat. It feels like home cooking. It's not the taste of food you get in Korea, it's the taste of real food you eat at home. I enjoyed every single side dish.

I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.

A place I want to come when I'm thinking of home-cooked meals and want to have a glass of soju❤️ The side dishes are so delicious that I'm full before the main meal. It's a big deal ㅜㅠㅠ Since it's a budae-jjigae restaurant, the budae-jjigae is amazing... They say the portion is for 2-3 people, but it's actually 4 people. The seafood and green onion pancake is awesome. Delicious

The food is indeed great. Some of the best Korean food I’ve had dining out. Highly recommend this place for the flavor.

Being in the mood for Korean soup, wanted to checkout this place for BuDaeJjiGae.Not sure if they recently changed their signage, but the signage looked new and caught my eye to stop by.The place seemed very slow during my afternoon visit. It was in an odd time in-between lunch and dinner.Ordered the BuDaeJjiGae(army soup). My initial impression of the side dish brought out was very good, tasted fresh and well made. The server felt like the owner and was soft spoken but kind. The main dish also looked and tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients. But after taking few sips of the soup, it felt a bit off from what I was expecting this soup to have tasted like.Don’t get me wrong, I think there was a lot of care preparing the soup and its ingredients’ quality. It was a decent soup but just didn’t have the distinct taste of the type of soup I was expecting. It was a bit disappointing that I didn’t get to try any other dishes but the fact the restaurant sells itself as a BuDaeJjiGae restaurant, was expecting the soup I tried to have a bit more distinct taste associated with this particular type of soup.Perhaps the restaurant was still in its early infancy and needed more time to refine its taste.Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for BuDaeJjiGae in particular, but good for a good meal with quality ingredients.

It was my first time dining here with friends and the meal did not disappoint! The seafood pajeon was so crispy and the seafood/flour ratio was perfect. The braised spicy chicken was flavorful and filling. The service here was also friendly and attentive too! Our server checked on us frequently and the owner was sweet and generous, making sure we enjoyed our stay. I can’t wait to come back here!
