It's a great spot with kind staff and a good selection of treats, right next to the park. They only opened relatively recently so they're still figuring some things out, but it's no reason to rate them poorly—give them a chance! I'm excited to frequent them more when it's warmer outside. Happy to have this business in the neighborhood.

We were so excited to try Aidas, stopped by multiple times to find no one there but after a few attempts we were able to try their gelato. The hours are odd and often times note on the door that they will be back in 5mins. For the portion size and price, we expected all to be made in house but learned the gelato and pastries are both made elsewhere. I got one one flavor for $6 while my partner got two flavors in the EXACT same size cup for $9, interesting. We were very excited about the potential here but tbh Mr Frosty is a better bet.

Small shop with amazing options! The passion fruit ice cream was refreshing and the red velvet ice cream was rich and delicious! Would highly recommend stopping in for a treat and walk around the park across the street to enjoy!

Each time I found myself in Astoria Park I would wish there was a cafe nearby to sit and have a coffee, iced or hot, and relax a bit. I thought my eyes deceived me when I recently spotted Aida's Parkside. I was hoping it wasn't a movie set deceiving me. I rushed over and was thrilled to learn that it was indeed real. I grabbed an iced latte, sat in the window and gazed upon the park. Absolute bliss. And to make things even better, they have delicious gelato as well. Exactly what the neighborhood needed.

The best and most unique gelatos in Astoria. They have a ton of dairy free/ vegan selections too, which don’t even taste any different than the regular dairy gelatos. So so good. The place is decorated so cute too, good for IG pics etc. the owner and his sister are super nice too. Great addition to Astoria. Will definitely be back.
This Gelato place really hits the spot! I mean anything with nutella and banana is just tasteful, I love that they also have vegan options me being vegan and finding a gelato spot was hard in Astoria but I am so glad they opened this place. Great ice cream, coffee and amazing staff absolutely friendly and always so inviting. I love that we can also sit outside enjoy some gelato and watch the park from here! Welcome to aidas parkside I highly recommend it

This gelato is wonderful! We got the nutella gelato after deciding between the lemon sorbet. Wow, am I glad that I had a full serving of nutella! They just opened and they already seem to be established well. Super cute walls with ice cream cones and quick/friendly service.Welcome to Astoria!

This place is a lovey family owned gelato shop! The staff was super friendly/patient and let my boyfriend and I try many different flavors of gelato! My favorite was the banana Nutella flavor! This combination is AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend!! Perfect place to bring your family/friends for a sweet treat!

Perfect ice cream. Was empty except the staff when I got in on a Sunday midday. Got coffee, biscoff, and pistachio flavor. Very unique satisfying experience and felt refueled after running (due to blend of oat and coconut milk)
