I ordered 2 rolls to go, and i got this: each roll only had 4 lousy pieces for EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! The old owners of this place were very generous and would give you a free California roll with every purchase over $20. They could not stay open because of the pandemic. The new owners are GREEDY! They raised the prices way past what the old owners charged. They used to serve 8 pieces per roll, now it's only 4 pieces for the same elevated price! You can compare the size of each piece to the small containers that the wasabi and ginger came in, not big at all! It feels like i barely ate anything. They've got some gall, but they lost a customer today. Don't waste your money! I'm getting GrubHub next time. I might pay more, but at least I'll get my money's worth. This place is not gonna last long, being the cheap-o's that they are. People are not stupid, they're gonna see right through your cheap tactics. No wonder this place is always empty.

Inflation is surely very obvious here. I guess im still stuck on 2019 prices. While food is decent, I find it à bit pricey. We spent about 100+ for 3 people and we did not get full.

I loved this place so much until they changed the menu :(. The maki rolls use to be a great size and now they are bigger with a lot of rice. I’d rather have the original 6-8 maki roll pieces instead of just 4 chunky maki pieces. You could enjoy/savor the flavor better with the smaller pieces. The lunch special is now overpriced and does not come with soup/salad anymore. So disappointed! Haven’t been able to see if any other menu items have changed, but the change of sushi style was unfortunate.

You know, here such personal people work like that, they splash people, I'm a delivery guy and they're on the street, wait, I'm not ready yet, they say bad people work in my opinion, they look at how you're dressed, how much money do you have in your pocket? only you know this because millionaires and billionaires come here who don’t look at their clothesParking: parking problem ?

What happened? Looked like new owners took over. Food was alright considering the minimal choices on the menu and the prices are way higher and service is nonexistent considering there were hardly any other customers. the portions are pathetic, A sushi place with no regular items. No Sushi Sashimi for 2, No Unagi Don , No Sashimi deluxe. The place was empty! And not once did the waitress come to the table to see if we were okay. We had to ask for water! No wonder this place was empty !

It's a cozy place with a handful of tables. When you walk in, you feel like you are transported to a side street in Tokyo with all of the posters and metal divider. The service is fast and the food is fresh!

AKAGI was my favorite spot in town for reasonably priced sushi, excellent service, and a great atmosphere.MIKADO is now an overpriced gimmick to sell $16 California roll and half the menu selection of their previous and better management. We were skeptical of the menu change at first and almost walked out, but we decided to stay. We are glad that we stayed, because the sushi was incredible and very fresh. I'm glad we kept an open mind and would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be returning.
