I attended Amadeus for a Black Attire event celebrating the birthdays for DJ Self, MTA Rocky and DJ Will. I hadn't been to the nightlife club scene in a while and was thoroughly surprised by the speed and professionalism of the security staff and the fact that there wasn't a long line waiting to get inside. Mandatory cash only coat check threw me off a bit but I just went and dropped my coat back in my car. It let my outfit shine better anyways 😂
Once inside, it's a dynamic environment with great sound and lighting. I'd even call it a DJs dream as it place the DJ booth center stage as opposed to some off corner somewhere. The DJs WERE the show. I noticed the lighting jumped with the music and there was a disco ball reflecting light all over from a steady streaming light source from the stage for a cool effect. Having an upstairs view to the dance floor and stage was great. DJ Self pulled up with Jim Jones for an impromptu performance which was a dope surprise.
The bar staff was swift and consistent with my expectations at a place like this. I wasn't asked if I wanted to keep my tab open, which was just an observation, nothing bad per se. I appreciated the price for my drink which combined multiple liquors and it was made just right.
Overall, shouts out to the promoter for throwing a hell of a party and to the venue for providing a clean and safe space for everyone to celebrate. For my first time here, I'm impressed. I'll be interested in coming back for other events at the venue. Also, I'd see if there is any food for me to review next time. #itsfoodovereverything

If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs. They are extremely unorganized. The vibes are meh. Lines are very long. Not worth it in my opinion. Worst Halloween experience.. never again.

Got a section and a whole fight broke out and these incompetent individuals and management and security did absolutely NOTHING. Drinks and chaser spilled and nothing was done or compensated. 0/10 highly DONT recommend. Even their weak DJs didn’t announce a thing

DISGUSTING ! TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT MY COUSIN PAID $1000 FOR A SECTION & they have all of us waiting outside saying there is no space ! They have 2 separate entrances and refuse to let us in either … telling us we have the wrong ticket in one with NO details and telling us it’s too full to let us in in the other ! Absolutely ridiculous!!!! Been waiting for 50 minutes atp with nooooo luck or expectancies in when we would be let in!
We were let in and one of the security guards were being rude bald headed black guy approx. 5’7. I went outside to get air as there was a bunch of smoke in the air and I have asthma and couldn’t breathe he told them not to let me back in despite my belongings still being inside. Then because they were not honoring tickets from Eventbrite there was still a very large crowd outside trying to get in I was able to go back inside due to a group complaining about it. When I was leaving he followed me out said don’t let her back in I said I was not coming back in I’m leaving he grabbed me by my face and then pushed me. Unprovoked. Will be contacting an attorney to deal with this matter. Already filed a police report with the 110th precinct.

Very horrible birthday experience ! I reserved a section 2 days prior to attending the club and the line was unbelievably long no type of accommodations for the people who booked in advance . Sat in line for an hour the lobby was packed out everyone brushing to the front to check in and it was only ONE person checking hundreds of people in. A few people that decided last minute had the free reservations and they couldn’t be used because we were on the line for over a hour. We finally get our section our bottles came out 1 hour later . It was very terrible service . I would never recommend this place for a birthday event it will take 2 plus hours to get in and have any type of drinks that you paid for before you got in your section !!!! Not to mention the big bald security guard that checks IDs is so rude and nasty to people the way he speaks to people ( myself & a few other guest ) ! NO PARKING because the police have both ends of the road closed due to repeated shootings at the club ! Shut this place down !
