Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. Focaccia was unique but I think it's a bit overhyped. Overall, service was friendly, food was good, and the ambiance was chill. I would definitely go back.

The place is beautiful and essentially every table has a nice view, although it's even better if you're sitting by the windows. We started with the fried calamari which was addictive, I ate every single crumb. It was fresh and crispy, not too salty and paired really well with the aioli. For our entrees my husband got the burger which was highly recommended and I the pork chops. The burger was good, it was juicy and full of flavor. The bun was somewhat dry but this could be overlooked. As for the pork chops- they were good just not great. Some parts were dry and overall it tasted more like pork belly. The other ingredients on the plate were interesting. It was tasty but it felt like the dish was trying too hard. For dessert we got their version of tiramisu which was also good but not quite impressive. I didn't really find a flavor to it unfortunately. Service was good and overall we had a good time and would definitely return!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was not only beautiful, but really and truly all American. I will say that the drinks are pretty good and unique. The calamari was really excellent. The service was ok. The chocolate chip cookie that was for dessert was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it.

Great view, great ambiance, great decor, but unfortunately that's where the "great"s end. I live in the area and decided to try their happy hour menu for dinner one night with some friends. We got sliders, truffle fries, mac n cheese, a burger, and a fried chicken sandwich. The group consensus was that the food was lacking in flavor (esp the mac) and came out lukewarm (likely because they waited to serve all of our food at the same time). The wait staff were also rather inattentive, rarely checking in on us so we had to flag them down frequently for basic things like refilling water. When they did come around, they were professional and polite, but it felt like a bit more attention could've been paid to us since the restaurant didn't seem too busy that night. All in all, a very "mid" experience that we likely won't recommend to others visiting the area, unless they're coming specifically for the view.

Had dinner Saturday night & it was exceptional! We started with the brussel sprouts which were the best we ever had! Then we had the ribeye for too which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Nicky B. was excellent! The decor & ambiance was tremendous! Definitely gonna recommend & will be back again soon! ?

Brunch with my sister in law was nice at American Brass. This was our first experience with this restaurant and we have seen good things about it. Located in an area that has seen positive change with a view of the city skyline from LIC Queens. We both had the waffle bittersweet requested the fixings to be placed on the side and Ny's sister in law had the steak fingerling potatoes and eggs as well. The waffles were soft and fluffy the maple whip was wonderful and the syrup was nice and warm. I had a side of bacon that was perfectly cooked. Let's talk about the service. The staff was very attentive and got the order right no matter what we asked for. They worked quickly thoroughly and in sync with each other. Thank you

Ive gone there 5 times and each time ive gone I said it would be my last but I live above so somehow always end up going back. The service is SLOW. Two times it's taken 1 hour from sitting down to get my order in and another hour for my main to come out (2 hours total). Same issue at the bar - they take 20 minutes to pay attention to you and are slow to bring over your drink (and this is when there are like 2 other people sitting at the bar). Also, once I went there during March madness round of 32 (so there a like a million games on) and they had the spurs game on every single TV - I mean how out of touch and tone deaf can you be? When I asked them to change it they refused. All that said, the food is dece. 1 star!

Everything was great but it is extremely cold in there, when complained they turned the heat on for a moment and turned it right back off. Not sure what exactly they get out of doing this.

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my significant other. There was a large party going on and it was a Saturday, so the staff seemed pretty frazzled. Due to this, we weren’t expecting stellar service, and we truly didn’t receive any. Our drinks were late and the fried calamari was soggy and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. When it came to entrees, the portions were small. The salmon had no flavor and cauliflower tasted undercooked.. but the truffle tagliatelle was decent. The tiramisu for dessert I would say was the best part of the meal. I also didn’t enjoy the fact that a 20% charge for the tip was automatically applied to our bill for a party of only two people. I’ve worked in food service in the past and would never give an unseemly amount, but please let me make that decision on my own.

Went last night for first time because friends who live nearby love it. Absolutely perfect all around. Everyone loved the meals, Carlos & Milady we the best and treated us like royalty. From cocktails to desert total enjoyment. Cant wait to go back.
