This was one of my favorite place to get roti from but Im a so disappointed with the roti I bought this weekend it's very oily and hard and tastes more like puri.

Do not buy roti from here!! Waste of money!!! The roti was the worst I have ever seen, had to throw them out because nobody wants them. It was raw and thick and uncooked, the curry was stale!!! Don’t buy here and waste your hard earned cash!!

First thing first, i love this place! The ambiance is super cute and very clean, the service was fast and the staff was very nice and patient with me due to it being my first time. The FOOD is delicious. I had this Aloo Pie and the shrimp was very tasty, NOT rubbery and hard, the size of the shrimp was unexpected, so happy it was not tiny shrimp, but the flavor was 10/10 definitely. Get either all of their sauces on it, but definitely get some pepper for that good kick! I tried my friend's Chicken Pasta with BBQ chicken and again the flavors were so GOOD. I can't wait to go back to try new dishes and their doubles. This place is a cute little place for a quick lunch, or food on the-go. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Ordered some baigan choka and even though the taste was great the onions inside were very overpowering and definitely more than the choka itself. After eating this I feel as though there is no onions left in the supermarket.

Anil Roti Shop is one of my go to West Indian spots for doubles. They open pretty early, 5:00am. I was in the Richmond Hill area and picked up a chicken double with channa for $4.00. A cod fish fritter with a little bit of that sweet Tamarind sauce. The doubles are good and filling! The two women at the counter are friendly, it's never crowded. Spacious enough to dine -in , a couple of tables.

So the food was not great ,the doubles was well... not good at all. The roti was not soft and fluffy, the curry had so much oil that separated from the food , maybe that's how they cook I don't know. The seating or lack there of was not great. I will not be going back unfortunately.

I bought 4 dhol puri today and in two hrs going to eat it I realize it spoil and I called the store and told the cashier and he was like you can come back and we will replace it. This is so embarrassing to give your guest just for them to say its not good food you bought. Owner of Anil please make sure the food being sold is good and safe for someone to consume.

I have been coming to this place for years now and my phone was dead I ask a worker to charge my phone she said yes I had to charge my phone to use Apple Pay because I didn't have my card so the store charger wasn't working for my iPhone so I asked for my phone back to go charge it in a deli and the old man who is the manager I'm guessing was acting like I'm trying to steal I have BEEN COMING THERE FOR AT LEAST 5 years never againn old man nastyy

worth the subway ride out to queens if you want the best roti or bussup shut in nyc. lower prices, bigger portions, better ingredients and more relaxed atmosphere than pretty much any roti place in brooklyn. nicely redecorated too.
