This place could be better, if when you ask for a toasted bagel, you actually get a toasted bagel. I have given them several chances. I even have asked for a double toasted bagel and it’s still never warm and never even has toast marks on it. Smh
Today I asked for Toasted raisin bagel with red onions. They gave me a non-toasted bagel with about almost an inch wide onion in the middle. I love onions, but who wants to bite into a fat piece of onion like we’re bitting an apple in a bagel?
A real bagel spot knows that it’s usually a thin sliced onion. And to top it off, who gives a Client the butt of an onion.
Do better Bake A Bagel!
I really want to like you, your like half a block from me and when you first opened I had high hopes that Maspeth would finally get a good food place. (I used to dine at your diner in Bk all the time?)
R.i.P! I’m taking you off my GO To food list!

I was in the area and wanted a bagel I figured why not. Open the bagel when I got back to work and a really long hair was in it. Didn't get to try the bagel I threw it away.

I had a chicken ranch wrap from here since I was stopped by. The wrap was enough portion for a meal and no extra food goes to waste. The wrap was delicious.

I ran here this morning in search of a solid b.e.c near me and open at 6am. Never been or heard of. My absolute GO TO is Brooklyn bagel and coffee. I will now stick with my go to from here on out— this isn’t to say this is a bad last minute bagel shop. Over all I had a good experience here. Though, the guy taking my order did not ask for specifics on my bacon egg and cheese. No “how do you want your eggs cooked, what type of cheese” etc. I do prefer soft scrambled. But it was too late to mention as he was already on the griddle. I appreciated the hastiness. Now, the bagel was a bit small, though the flavors were 10/10 of the sandwich. Absolutely great. BUT would I pay 9.50 for a bacon egg and cheese plus a bare everything bagel? Never again. I’m so sad I did. This store has a $10 credit card minimum. The reviews and google menu indicated $5.00 for a sandwich with egg and cheese. Come to find bacon is $2.00 extra. And at that. You need to meet a price minimum. Only 45% of adults under 50 carries cash on them at a given time. Newsflash, we are in a digital world. The consumer should not be held responsible for business fees. Now, I get that you have a fee to pay, but apparently you (didn’t have to pay it or did you) charging me $9.50 instead of $10 isn’t doing me a favor; this is absolutely crazy. I feel ashamed to pay so much for a breakfast sandwich and I honestly should have just went with Mac Donald’s or Brooklyn bagel where I could have gotten wayyy more for my money and an enjoyable experience. Again, ok if ur in a crunch and have cash on you but I wouldn’t go out of my way for this.
