Went for a wedding (a headcount was clearly provided for dinner), food was tasty but most folks left hungry & some went to a bbq place across the street for a snack (very good casual bbq place across the street). They served a single fillet of fish to share "family style" between 4+ people. Two bathrooms available and cold water tap in one was broken, no efforts made to mcgivyver any kind of solution, just scalding hot water available in one (of the two) of the bathrooms for handwashing.

We made a reservation for the 5 course meal with pairings of Natural Italian Wines. The entire evening was the best experience so far at Bar Marseille! Superb food, wonderful wines and lovely service.

Waited almost 2 hours for maybe mediocre food. They did not acknowledge us, or inform us about the potential wait, and the Restrooms unmaintaned.

Recently renovated, so the venue is bright and airy. Service was efficient, personal, without being overbearing or persistent. The deviled eggs were delicious, and the crispy zucchini was amazing.
My boyfriend & I went to dinner here last night and overall it was a good night, very good food, and the cocktails were delicious! The ambiance was nice, dimly lit with live music & solid service quality. The only negative was that there was a table with other customers that got way too drunk and were being extremely loud & rude (cursing, spilling drinks, shouting). I told the manager that they were making us feel very uncomfortable and the hostess moved us to a different table (which made it a lot better). The manager came over to apologize and say that table was celebrating a retirement but truthfully he should have asked them to leave. When they did leave, the staff needed to carry them out the door because they were so drunk, and one of them ended up falling outside and 911 needed to be called. Mind you these people were at least 70/80 years old. Once they left the vibes were immediately restored. So despite the manager not asking them to leave sooner, the rest of the night was great and I would definitely go back again!

This restaurant is always very lovely. I took a group of women here for the end of our retreat day. They were short one salmon, so that was a little weird, but other than that everything was top notch.

The oysters are good and I liked the lean Crispy Zucchini but wish they offered a version with 1/4 the quantity. The Salmon au Poivre was great. They could do more with GF and DF notations on the menu, and sustainable / organic / bio indications on the wine list. The outdoor patio above is nice and spacious and the live musicians sang well.

Bar Marseille is a great place to enjoy a meal with a view. The roof deck has a cozy atmosphere and a nice breeze.We tried the French onion soup, the fried calamari, the steak tartar and the Bar Marseille Cheeseburger, and they were all amazing. The soup was rich and cheesy, the calamari was crispy and tender, the tartar was fresh and flavorful, and the cheeseburger was juicy and satisfying.The Creme Brûlée for dessert was the perfect ending, with a crackling top and a smooth custard.The staff also surprised us with complimentary drinks after dinner, which was very kind of them. They were attentive and friendly. We can't wait to come back to Bar Marseille.
