Have been twice now and the food and service both times were amazing. The owner, and staff, are so friendly and accommodating, they want you to leave satisfied. I had amazing baked clams as an app special my first time in, and when I commented how good they were this time, they made them for me even though they weren’t listed on the menu for the night! It reminds me of visiting my Italian dad, he’s not happy if he’s not giving you exactly what you want.
I used to live in Astoria right of the Ditmars train stop, and occasionally we come to a astoria to enjoy some good local food, a friend told me that there is a new place that had open about few months ago, Bartolino’s and so my wife and i decided to give it a try, right away we were greeted and seated by a server, we order a few dishes to share but the dish tat stand out from the rest of the food we’ve orders was a pasta dish with Italian sausage broccoli rab and garlic...
Took my mom and daughter for dinner tonight. We were pleasantly greeting by the owner, Bobby and the waitress, Dorothy.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great! As we had dessert, we watched the Mets beat the Phillies and advance to the NLCS.
