I ordered today via Uber eats with my coworkers. I was trying the bolon for the first time, the taste was good, I really liked it, but I do think it is way overpriced for what you get, it had a very small amount of chicharrón and cheese for $17. Will not be buying again... At least not from this restaurant.

I have come to this restaurant for many years. This last visit was very disappointing. I came on a Thursday afternoon. I am not sure if they changed the chef, but the food was just not that good. Not only was the food not great but the prices were ridiculous. $6 for ONE empanada. Funny, because that was the best item I ate. The service was fantastic, I just can't say enough about how great it was. The music might have been a bit louder than I liked, but overall, the atmosphere was great as well. Estuve en el de Astoria , la comida fue excelente , pero la atención estuvo pésimas, no regresaré más a ese restaurante , que pena x q estuvo super buena la comida , pero el personal pésimo en especial un colombiano que nos atendió, el fue muy poco servicial , todo en la mesa estuvo ahí, si no le llamamos la atención a la manager todos los platos sucios , vasos nada lo recogieron x cuenta de ellos , pésima atención!!!!!

The pure lemon onion on the tanned onion was terrible. The onion looked like lemonade! Zero for zero after that they tell you to order without onion next time hahaha! After that expensive! The price doesn't matter when it's good!

The waitress was very attentive but the suggestion of the terrible sausage broth and the bad chili, my daughter ate some breaded shrimp with patacones that were not even toasted, in short the food is not that special.
Their menu is full of options that truly represent the vibrant culture of Ecuador. I've recommended this place to many and have only heard great feedback. My family often comes from Long Island to enjoy their weekend brunch and are always thrilled with Hilda's service.
