The pancakes are pretty good the chicken & biscuits were ok but service needs to be improved. I felt that my husband and I were racially profiled because while we still had plates in front of us the woman at the counter kept staring at us and just as we were finished she came over with the bill and placed it on our table. This was especially odd as two other non black parties ate their food uninterrupted and they went over to the counter when they were ready to pay. No one approached them with a bill or asked to “ double check “ that the money came through when they paid through Zelle or Venmo. We will not be returning.

Very good food for the neighborhood.
Price is on the higher side so I am giving 4stars otherwise 5stars. FYR, we got two main dishes and two drinks and paid 35per person for brunch.
The seasonal pumpkin pancake was very good. Very fluffy and strong hints of pumpkin. Highly recommend.
The bbq brisket sandwich was an explosion of flavor. Very good.
Decaf Americano was good.

Honestly, this place has some of the best pancakes and breakfast in all of Queens and deserves a 5 star review, but as somebody who works in a client facing job, they are absolutely rude and unwelcoming.
I’ll continue to eat here for the food, but it would be nice to come in and be treated well by the staff here and it would be great to give them a five star review which they would deserve if they could learn a little bit of hospitality.
I’ve had maybe one friendly waiter, and the rest of the staff has been Quite Unwelcoming every time that I’ve been there.

I had a really disappointing experience at Belly Cake. I waited for a long time to be seated, only for the staff to tell me afterward that there were no tables available. If they were full, they could have simply said so from the start instead of making me waste my time waiting. Very poor organization and customer service. Definitely not coming back.

I was here one hour ago, they tell me to wait 20 minutes and I was waiting for the call and they never call back ! We went back to the place and he said that he can’t do nothing and we have to wait 20 more minutes and he put more people that was after us. I was a really fan of this place. But they play with the customers.

I had a hankering for pancakes and decided to stop by. The matcha pancakes sounded great, and it turned out to be phenomenal.
The worst host we ever met. It’s very small place. Why you allowed reservations. We went there at 1:00pm. They have 3 tables hold for 1:30pm party. We waited more than 1/2 hour. We don’t want table outside. The host is very RUDE. And very NASTY. Instead of apologizing he want mean and yelling at us!!!!! What kind of service business. We will not go back again!!!! The place is not worst to be rude and mean to the PAID customer. If I can comment, I will not give them any stars.

I was in the neighborhood a little early for an appointment so I decided to walk around a little to kill some time when I came across this place. I was happy to see they were open quite early since many places open later in the day. I decided to drive it a about since I was early for my appointment but about an hour and thought that's enough time to grab an impromptu breakfast, and I was really glad I did. While it's a little pricey for breakfast, it was well worth it. The matcha pancakes were amazing, and I can't wait to come back again, bring some friends if I can convince them to trek out earlier in the day, lol.
