The SMB bagel is the best signature bagel there. The Kimchee balls (Ben's Balls) are great too and a must get while here. If you come on the weekend you get a special treat of some super yum banana pudding and it's free!
We stumbled across BtB on our way to LaGuardia completely by chance. Ben recognized our simplistic bacon egg and cheese orders and inquired about if we had heard about his specials. We hadn’t, but we promptly changed our orders and he changed our palates. Best food decision I’ve ever made. Great people, great story, great food. 🙌

Showed up with my buddy Sean because we saw this place on an Instagram reel and we were both blown away.
As soon as we walked in, Ben greeted us and told us exactly what we wanted (1 DAPS and 1 SMB to split). He then gave us each a free fried rice ball (which was bomb) and offered us some free Nutella banana pudding while we waited for our sandwiches.
The sandwiches were unbelievable. I’ve lived in NYC for 10 years and I’ve never had a bagel sandwich as good as either of these were. Maybe I’m biased because I’ve eaten so many BECs but these were unique, super flavorful, and a ton of food. We were stuffed leaving this place.
Ben was funny and engaging and clearly cares deeply about what he’s doing and his community of regulars (of which I will start to become part of). I could not recommend this place more highly.

The SMB is incredible, highly recommend it! With massive bulgogi, fluffy egg, and an everything bagel, it’s absolutely amazing! As a tourist, it might be hard to get here but if you’re arriving at LaGuardia Airport, make sure to visit this cozy bagel shop. The staff are also kind and gentle, making the experience even better! Thanks for giving me such great memories in New York!❤️

Food 9/10 Do not go for the regular stuff, it is leagues below their specialties. The SMB hit so hard after a run, I can’t believe I actually ate an entire HUMONGOUS bagel by myself. Such a great treat, the flavors were great, and although fusion sometimes misses, this was a strangely huge hit for me. Would totally come back again!
Atmosphere 8/10 A standard bagel store with some cool and funny decor by the cash register.
Service 6/10 It did take a while for the bagels to come out, but I won’t discount that because it was quite busy inside and everyone was bustling.
